I totally agree the PDA looks cringey but now that they're newly married couple inki pda toh aur bhi chalegi ghar mein, hospital mein. 😂😂😂😂 Until a major problem arrives in their relationship this pda silsila will keep going on. 🙃😅

I hated their baby talk. PDA is fine.
Their inner most feelings are coming out which were suppressed for a long time.
In S2, the Kaira were caught having their private moments and to spice up the romance Abhira will be given something on the same lines
Maybe that is why Manish wanted Abhira to settle separate, he did definitely sense that Abhimanyu can go to any lengths.
Anyways, Abhira are one. Unless their thought process clashes to such an extent that the very basis of love is threatened. Till then the PDA is gonna continue.

what is PDA??

Thanks for the tag Born.
I think every couple infact every person has their own way of expressing love. I don't think I am equipped to judge someone based on my personal preference. Infact I would be the biggest hypocrite to judge someone's style of love. As much as I cringe at cheesy lines I also secretly enjoy them being spoken out loud too. If everyone becomes a statue of decorum and pinnacle of properoity where would be the fun left in life. Personally, I don't mind it on Abhira for 2 reasons:
1. I realize I am watching fiction and yahan cheesy nhi honge to kya mere ghar me honge. I am someone who rewatches DDLJ and other SRK-Kajol movies every 6 months because frankly I enjoy cheese. And I enjoy watching good looking couple romancing on screen. Problems aur maturity ke path pathane ke liye meri zindagi kaafi h. Onscreen mujhe entertainment chahiye real life replica nhi
2. It actually also fits the characters. Abhimanyu is a mature doctor because he was forced to grow up before his age thanks to his rigid family environment. Generally, people mature with heartbreak and age but he never had the first one (before AK) and was always cynical. For me, the dooba dooba dream sequence was a revelation of sorts because it showed us a traumatized child who has been waiting to heal and have fun with someone he loves with all his heart. Getting AK in his life released the child in him. He is happy and he is having fun and I am having fun watching him finally enjoy the life he missed.
I think we are wrongly comparing him to other brooding heros we generally see on TV. Those people are mature/cynical because they usually have been cheated by most cases: an ex lover or a mother figure who ran away. These characters are women haters who fall in love with heroine but stay their mature/cynical selves because their insecurities are not solved just by falling in love. These MLs are also usually the ones who doubt their wives characters and at smallest provocations separate.
Case in point : Gul Khan heros like ASRs (old and new) or the Madhubala guy
Abhimanyu is not THAT "MATURE" guy. He is mature because he is brought up that way since childhood by suppressing his inner child. His family however flawed they might be, taught him to respect and be serious about his profession and he imbibed that. But in the personal front he wanted that release a happy fun filled home which he never got. That's what makes his character and love story different. This is his first and last love.
He felt something break inside him for the first time. It's impossible for him to go back to being a non believer once he his heart has thawed. That's the reason for his obsession with Akshara. First loves are immature, stupid, expressive and impulsive.
It's also his last love (he knows it and we know it too). Last loves are obsessive and all consuming, our last chance at happiness. That's what he is grasping with both his hands.
Hope this POV helps
Yes, PDA is going overboard.. it needs to be in control as they entered into marriage now. At least for another 1-2 weeks we may see even more of those scenes being romantic and those cheesy lines in house and in hospital as well.. but it’s ok, newly married couple na, let them have fun 😳😉.. once the actual issues start we will definitely see them being matured and quite. I’m hoping so.
everyone has their way of expressing love some are open and do it via PDA or some via action or some via surprizes, I am OK with any kind of expression as for me love is love and if you are expressing your love in a way that other person is comfortable with it, I am game for it, I like it.
I loved the poem abhi said today, I think it was very cute and sidha dil se
In terms of the hashtags, I don't think that it showed that their love is possessive! I don't think there is anything wrong in making the person you love feel special. They didn't do it to show the world -- they did it for each other! In fact, no one even saw Abhi's customization except Akshu. Also hashtags are really common at weddings these days anyways! I think that it is more about the sentiments and emotions than anything else.Originally posted by: borntorule12
Am I the only one who feels abhira especially abhi does a lot of public display of affection and expression of love- while it's good in one way but i feel such conversations should happen in private and between couples. Abhi is way too much into akshara and we can see even while marriage rituals he is like I love akshu so much even if entire sindoor gets filled in her maang, it won't be enough for my love . I feel they get kind of immature and cringe at times..with cheesy lines and air hearts . Even today the shayari part would look more nice if they showed something like abhi expression his happiness to akshu in private that you are my wife and then that he has made a poem for her.. all these #abhikiakshu and #akshukaabhi needs to stop...love doesn't need to be this possessive.. like the world knows after marriage they would be each other's so I personally find getting these things printed cringe as if it's to show the world ( just a personal opinion)
I really want to see some maturity in their relation. I want abhi to stop pampering akshu way too much. I want to see akshu as a grown ass women.
The poem was done in public, because it was a rasam! Abhi is constantly expressing his love to Akshu whether that be in private or in public... but that is just who he is! I personally think it is beautiful how open he is with his feelings, especially because men are normally portrayed to be more closed off with their feelings. I don't think that these types of things make a couple cringe!
Also, up until this point, we have witnessed their journey as a couple before marriage. With time, they will grow and mature together. This is just the beginning of their relationship. However, a part of their essence is that they bring out the playfulness and kids within each other, so I think that will always remain. It might seem OTT, but I think it just shows how comfortable they are with each other and how they can both entirely let their guards down.

I am not liking hash tags at all and how they keep promoting Abhira in the serial, mehendi, cake, costumes it's everywhere.. It is showing off your love and looks so cheesy.. it should come from inside..Once in a while it's ok...I don't mind little bit of PDA as I am very much used to it but yeah anything too much becomes a lot.
What I think most is he needs to give Akshara space and not get angry on everyone or everything he doesn't like. Then Manjiri and akshara will start hiding things from him instead of sharing and building a beautiful relationship.. Like kheer thing and function yesterday I got same feeling that Mahima, Anand and Harsh trio can use against them.
