Completely agree about taking him to the hospital. That not only applies to Anuj & Anu, but more so to V and others in the family. That must be their #1 priority.

About self-respect –Anu never had it to begin with, that’s why we are witnessing this day. Anuj?!

Also, remember that there is a mountain of difference in “baap maan na” and being his real daughter/child.

I tried putting myself in Anu’s shoes in this scene. Yes, heart stirs when I see my father-like person is about to die. But I must leave it to his children when they are right around him. V & dolly are not evil people who have washed off their responsibilities as children. They are shown to love their parents. If V or Dolly weren’t there or they were mean to leave their parents on the road to fend for themselves, I can understand. But that is not the case here.

It is not about muh utha kar chale jaana, but it is about being practical.

End of the day, Anu needs to remember that she is divorced. This is NOT her home. V & baa are yelling to get out of the house, she must leave. Bapuji was like her father, filled in the void her dad left in her life, all that is fine. That doesnt mean she should override bapuji's wife & son. Anuj, I am at a loss of words.
