Nandini is a gold digger. Kumar and Nandini must be cousins and Kumar could be behind it. Both of them were behind Ram's wealth. We will get more details in the coming episodes

I don't think its a pregnancy if it does than a false alarm. Its maybe due to Shivi's cakes that she feels sickly. Regards to annoucement it could be anything,it can be sting operation since the families do not know that they came Alibagh for a purpose or it can be going back to mumbai. If its indeed a pregnancy related scene than it could be a false alarm & they want to clear the MU of the family. I think your basic premise makes senseā¦ Ram being completely blank about her mother struck me during their date post marriageā¦ when he says dad aur mom yahaan pehli baar mile theā¦ and Priya asks your Mom he says no ā Nandini Momāā¦ even Priya is slightly startled at itā¦ something felt amiss thereā¦

Someone on blue chidiya has decoded some more dialogue from the script.
It seems that Pri eats all the cake the Shivi baked (probably to save Mr.Kapoor & the rest of the family š¤£) and she falls sick. Then couple of dialogues between Akki/Shivi/Ram/Priya followed by the announcement wala dialogue.
SO looks like food poisoning š¤£. The announcement could be related to the case maybe
