The female krouncha's wailing includes Tara's wailing of Vali in addition to Sita and Mandodari. She is the older wiser queen like Kaushalya and yes she uses her intelligence to get Lakshman to cool down and not destroy Kishkindha because Sugriva got sidetracked in merry making after winning Kishkindha from Vali. This was after the rainy season (4 months) finished.
