I loved Anthony and Kate in the book, Kate being Kate Sharma doesn't add up because her sister Edwina was considered diamond of the season and white aristocrats thinking that a brown woman is the most beautiful woman feels like brushing years of violent racism under the carpet

I still watched for Jonathan Bailey because he is perfect as Anthony

I didn't like the way they left out important details of Anthony's childhood, his fear of dying young like his father and Kate's childhood trauma as well, Edwina in book was sister goals, she shipped Kate and Anthony. In series, they ruined a beautiful relationship between two sisters

Oohh I have been obsessing over Bridgerton after watching S2. Then I went back to watch S1 since I hadn't when it released and I ended up sort of not liking it as much?? 😆

Anyway... S2 really served what Bollywood is famous for but now thinks it's too cool for it: romance, great chemistry, family drama. It's cheesy and full of tropes and I love it all the more for it honestly☺️
