I think Ranveer/Sara an that host tried to do a comedy skit

Definitely Ranbir stepping on Alia's dress is more cringeworthy

Ranveer slapping Sara isn't cringeworthy, it's disgusting. Absolutely horrid that he's laying hands on her like that. Jhanvi slapping her co-star was gross. Ranveer slapping Sara is just as gross

Sara was not enjoying him beating her up in front of cameras...she said she had marks on her back...play ful might be a couple of light taps...not the pounding her he was doing...and then hitting her with the stick....and yeah people tolerate a lot because they want to work in BW ...so Sara tolerating Ranveer is not a surprise...😳

If she didn't like it she could have told ranveer and he would have stopped, there is nothing about tolerating here, the fact that ranveer kept doing it showed that she was allowing him to do it, these stars do things for promotions and for the cameras, and one thing I noticed with Sara and ranveer is that they acted like siblings that were constantly teasing each other and pulling each others leg. And the playful slaps were part of it.

Sara doesn't have to tolerate ranveer, she is Saif Ali khans daughter and there are many actors she can work with, so the fact that she is still friends with rs and chooses to still be around him shows the equation they share and shows the slaps were nothing serious to her

The only ones I saw doing comedy and failing at it was Ranveer...even the t was taken aback in the start...and it was obvious from Sara's face that she got hurt....not saying that Ranveer wanted to hurt her....but she got hurt and she gots marks on her back.

I there any article mentioning his age at that time? I couldn't find any that says he was only 8 yr old at that time

Anyway not normal for an 8 yr old either... except a little less creepy than if he was a 12 yr old...

Blue.ice please understand what i actually said, i said sara did not have to tolerate it if she wasn't ok with it, if she didn't like it she would have told ranveer to stop and he would have stopped it, she is an outspoken and independent woman and i don't think she would have any problem telling ranveer to stop doing something that was making her feel uncomfortable.

But he didn't stop which indicates to me that she didn't tell him to stop, which means she didn't mind him doing it, for her it could have been just a playful harmless thing, i have a feeling it was something both of them agreed on to try and show their playful equation onscreen.

Ranveer is not a horrible person, if sara told him he was upsetting her and making her feel uncomfortable he would have definitely stopped doing it

I remember the interview and Neetu saying he was 8....a 12 year old Ranbir doing it deserves no sympathy....12 year olds in USA can baby sit...they are supposed to be responsible.

I get that he was a kid and shouldn’t be lynched forever for this but an 8 year old knows right from wrong so even for that age, that is highly disturbing. What he did to Priyanka was also weird but thankfully she can swim and didn’t get a cramp. Ranveer used to be quite crass and immature (and so is Sara) - I don’t like all his “jokes” but ai do think that they were trying to portray a forced sibling/jockey relationship for promotions as no way would he seriously harm her live. Still silly and cringe though, but people calling him a woman beater are clearly trolling. Ranveer does need to tone down and be more image conscious as having good intentions and a pure heart is not enough, people are judged through their actions.

Not excusing Ranbir's stupidity...yes stupidity...an 8 year old doesn't know any better....but Neetu's explanation and laughter was definitely cringeworthy.

Honestly whatever these stars do is blown completely out of proportion, whether its ranveer playfully hitting sara on her back or rk kicking alias saree, its not a big deal
