RRR is a disaster/KGF2 is a blockbuster

I saw another YouTube video RRR vs KGF 2.. i liked the comparison and KGF 2 won hands down due to its budget. KGF 2 is made with 100 crores only and every scene gives larger than life feel where for the same experience RRR invested 500+ crores budget. This proves you donot need to increase budget to make great movies, BW should learn this and control their budget

I personally liked RRR more than KGF series.

I'm a bit scared to say this out loud because KGF is being loved more by the audience apparently.

Both films had all the elements of a Big, Mass, Blockbuster film...but I liked the narrative of RRR more than KGF. I also felt more invested with the characters of RRR than KGF, where I could only connect with Rocky's character.

ROI-wise, KGF is the winner all the way, I have to admit.

ROI wise, yes it is. if disaster nahi toh at least average compared to KGF 2.

I hope Rajamouli learn from KGF director how and where to cut the costs.

From whatever reviews I heard of viewers ..everyone liked RRR more. Haven't seen either yet

Not just ROI, KGF 2 is a much bigger hit overall also.

KGF 2 wiped out all competition from other movies for this year. ROI wise and even as a magnanimous spectacle without even having any big stars.

In that light, RRR is not a dud per se, it's enjoyed it's success and plot+aesthetics were grand. But in comparison to KGF, it definitely pales as per BO collections.

All in all, a good year for South film industry so far.
