I also think that just like how AK ki popularity caught the PH unaware, this prequel ke negative reviews have taken them off track. But pata hai weird Kya hai? This isn’t the first time. They should’ve realised this after their Vanika track tanked! And that was toh around the prequel time wali news. Toh scrap kyun nahi kar diye? Or they could’ve come up with something better na?

I think more than just increasing digital footprint , adding him is an attempt to stop the negativity surrounding the prequel which got unleashed in recent days . Had it not been for the timing and the fact that main show quality definitely getting compromised , most ppl wouldn’t have cared and so much negativity wouldn’t have been there .

By making GK part of the prequel , in however insignificant role , is definitely going to stop those rants of why have they made prequel , when shooting is gonna end etc . Increased views thanks to GKs popularity is also a bonus ....
