Thank you so much, Terimalang ji for saying all of this. Aap kahan ho, when there were barely 3-4 of us ranting about the insanity being shown as organic love👎🏼. Anyway, I am glad none of you put yourselves through watching that infamy. I just got off the high horse of watching Silsila...... with a phenomenal female lead who kicked the behind of the philandering ex and I thought I get to see something like this with a more docile female lead, Malini🤢. Ewww...... this is what we got instead. Can I give you a great big hug for saying all this🤗, as I am seeming like a broken record in my eyes too🤔
Yes, Imlie said a lot of nonsense in the beginning. Like utter nonsense. She is a young girl from a broken home of an unwed mother, marriage is like a mirage shown to her as the ultimate oasis. She had the all or none concept in her head. Either she stays single and achieves her dreams or marries and becomes the best bahu possible. She spewed a lot of nonsense during that time. She called herself a sole delegate of Sita Maiyaa and this guy is a gift from her Sita Maiyaa. She also said she will only believe in one marriage for herself.
Emboldened by this guy pursuing her, she forgot that Malini may also have had strong convictions about marriage. For Malini, she had seen the bitter marriage of her parents, a broken home of another sort and she vowed never to be in that situation. She, therefore invested may be one third of her life time in this useless relationship, must have thoroughly vetted the relationship as she didn't want to go wrong in the marriage. From what is shown, the courtship phase is not unilateral, seems like the guy got on his knees to propose to her, refuting all the theories thrown around that she manipulated him into the marriage. Once, the organic couple confessed their so called "organic love"😡 which had sprouted out of nowhere, they acted as if Malini is an inconvenience who should have just fallen off the face of Planet earth 😡💔
We were told to look at Adi guy as some " flawed, guy next door" and therefore just ignore his mistakes and look at how " good" he looks with a 18 yr old. Ewwww...... this was nauseating🤬. Look at it this way to imagine the absurdity of the situation. What if a surgeon says, I am flawed, so look at my actions in that context before judging me. I planned to take out your spleen, but my surgical tech behind me said that that is one heck of a gleaming, beautiful liver, so I took it out instead😡🤬. But look, I overcame my flaws and see how pretty your sutures on the belly look😲. Now go on and live your life. I know I am being dramatic and goofy, but this is akin to what we were asked to consider😡 Flaw is never an excuse when you are destroying lives. Hated it. It was totally insane🤬
At the end of the day, Imlie is a young girl, who was brought up unexposed amidst superstition and harsh conditions. She made her share of mistakes. She got out of them as she accurately identified what is going on with the guy, thankfully helped by ASR to stand her ground. Yes, she was stuck in the past for a while, but she worked this guy out of her system successfully now👍🏼 She is hardworking, empathetic, sincere in her efforts, has the world in front of her to explore. Toh move on kyun na karein More importantly, she is not one to sulk, she picks up the pieces, puts one foot in front of the other and walks with her head held high👏. It is absolute nonsense that she is expected to rot on the garbage pile where the patrakaar put both of his wives based on his fancy, in case he comes back to pick them up from the garbage😡
Again, apologize my friends, I have very strong opinions in this regard😔 I tried to avoid this thread😒, but when I saw Terimalang's post, I again got undone😊
