Trying to look at things from Gautam's pov, he has been looking after this family from an early age. He has brought up this kids and he surely wants them to stick together which is no where wrong. As of now, he thinks Rishita is just angry on Dhara and that's why ignoring her words. Similarly, for Dhara she wants to bind the family together at any cost, and now after the challenge ( idk why) she want Deshit to come back to PN by hook or crook.

But what they fail to understand is, just because you want one kid to feel loved, you doesn't overlook the other one. You can't expect the other kid to apologise simply for satisfying ego of the spoilt kid, it will give more encouragement to them as they will understand that they can do anything and get away with it because the good one will keep apologizing for the sake of family, which is absolutely wrong. It will also reduce the self-confidence of the other one, he will eventually think himself as un -important to the family.

There must be a threshold for everything and Rishita has already crossed it. Rishita and Dev have always got different treatment from everyone. Dev ditched Raavi at altar and no body had the guts to slap him while Dhara and Gautam have slapped Shiva on multiple occasions, Dhara had almost slapped Raavi during saanp kand. Suman has tortured Raavi to the worst level for slapping Shiva, but she had nothing to say about Rishita when she insulted him like anything. Raavi has been subjected to mental harrasment for things which were much less than what Rishita is doing, Suman was the same person who asked Dhara to leave the home after she did the batwara, inspite of her giving 10 years of life to this family. Suman's reaction was very very mild to what Rishita did.
