I am not a Marathi!!! I am a gujrati!!! It's just that i live in Maharashtra and so know marathi well!!!

I have heard about this mangalagauri Pooja but don't have much knowledge about it!!! So i doubt i can write in it!!! But you can let me know any other idea...i shall try writing!!!

By the way TR ki week 14 ki TRP 5.8 hai according to BARC India ( TRP check karte time wo BARC India ne publish ki hai ye dekhna important hai 😆)

Right, maine abhi BARC India ka TRP report check kiya Hindi serials have TRP and Marathi ke liye TVT hai

so for first 5 years after marriage, in the month of Shravan on all Tuesdays, this pooja is performed of devi ma Gauri (Parvati), hence the name Mangala-gauri by married ladies

all the female relatives and neighbours, friends are invited

they gather flowers, leaves, fruits other pooja samagri

then perform pooja and aarti of devi and ask her blessings for their married life

in the night after dinner, they play games, sing songs, dance, etc and generally have a merry time till the early morning hours

in the 5th year, this vrat gets completed and they do udyapan by gifting silver/gold naag moorti, clothes etc to the girls mother and father

it used to be such a joyful time when i was a kid

i always used to wait for August to enjoy someone's mangalagauri pooja
