Continue dear.. serial se zero umeed rakhna.. everytime you only will have to write such sensible and sweet track.

Anu's mobile rang continuously. It was GK.

"Kya hua kaka?"

"Beta sorry tumhe disturb kar raha hu, yeh Mukku tumhare rented flat mein chali gayi hain, pata nahi dono bhai behen mein kya baat hui. Ho sake toh tum jaogi uske paas?" GK requested.

"Aap chinta nahi kariye, main abhi jakar dekhti hu." Saying thus she asks Samar to drop her at her home.

As she opened the door, Mukku ran to hug her, "I was thinking of calling you and you came without me even asking you.. thats the connection baby"

"Kya hua Mukkudi", Anu asked pampering her.

"Mujhe neend nahi aa rahi, lori sunao na"

Anu - "Samar, tu bhi ruk ja, main iske paas hu. Bapuji ko bata dena hum log yaha hain, nahi toh woh chinta karenge."

She takes Mukku's hand and goes in the bedroom. Unaware of the thumbs up signal Samar and Mukku exchanged.

When Mukku had slept, Anu pondered over today's happenings.

What an eventful day it was.

She knew there would be hindrances for her upcoming marriage, but had not contemplated a literal war between Mr Shah team and her loved ones with her being in between.

As for her Anuj, he had been so understanding as always, she knew he was worried for her. But couldn't go against Bapuji's wish to stay at Shah house until the wedding.

She couldn't sleep so decided to video call Anuj, she knew he would be awake too.

Both asked each other if they were okay. She asked what happened between him n Mukku that she ran away ?

He said we argued over a trivial issue about the wedding expense, thats it. Good thing that she went to Anu home than elsewhere. "Tum tension matt lo, okay?"

She also assured him that she was there for Mukku and bid him goodnight.

It was after seeing him, her nerves had calmed down. "Kanhaji, dhyaan raakhjo" she prayed.

She woke up a little late than usual. Mukku must be in the living room she thought.

She was about to open the door when she heard voices of Gk, Samar, Mukku and Anuj.

It was their plan to get her out of Shah house. She was flabbergasted that Anuj was a part of this.

Furious, she opened the door, where Mukku and Samar were doing a high five at the success of their plan, while Anuj n GK tried to warn them about her arrival.

Anu suppressed her anger, "aise kaun karta hain? Bandh karo aise bachkani harkat"

Samar - "mummy aap naraz matt ho, waha kuch bhi ho, sab ka ghussa aap apr hi nikalta hain, aapki shaadi hone wali hain, aise happy occasion pe itna stress achha nahi, mujhe achha nahi lagta jab koi aapko bewajah taane mare, isliye maine hi Inn sab se help mangi.

I know aap bapuji ke khilaaf nahi jayengi"

Anu - "lekin Samar, Bapuji?? "

GK interrupts - " dekh Anu, ab tum humari ho, ho na?"

When she nods a yes, he continues, "tere Bapuji ko maine samjhana chaha par woh nahi maan raha."

"Uski zidd ke karan, tumhe har roz kitne taane sunne padenge, sunne padd rahe hain, yeh samjhta hi nahi"

Yeh jo shadi se pehle wala samay hota hain, usko enjoy karna chahiye, naa ke itna stress.

Anuj bhi pareshan tha puri raat. Kya tum chahogi usse takleef ho?"

Anu nodded a negative - "Aap sahi keh rahe hain kaka, jana toh main bhi nahi chahti, par Bapuji ko mana kaise karu?"

"Mana karne kisne kaha beta? Jis din shaadi hain, uss din Shah house chale jana yaha se tayyar hoke, aur Hasmukh waha se teri bidaai kar dega, simple"

"Ab maan jaao beta, inn buddhi haddiyo mein taqat nahi rahi sabko sambhalne ki" GK pretends to act tired.

Mukku - "maan jao na bhabhi,"

Samar - "maan jao na mummy",

They all start shouting, maan jaao please please please..

Anu is about to say okay when,

Mukku - "please maan jaao mummy"

Samar - "please maan jaao bhabhi"

Everyone looks at each other in shock.

They realise the mix up and burst out laughing.

Anu and Anuj exchange looks, Mukku barges in between, "apna romance thode din control kar lo, we have a lot to do" , and takes Anu with her, leaving a smiling Anuj behind.

What we would have liked to see.. a little long but had to write it. Hope you like it.

P.s. have networks issues so not trying for tags until i get my wifi back. Hopefully i can post the write-up for now.

Anu waited for Anuj. The family was meeting at his house in the evening. She had messaged him to come a few hours early and meet her in her apartment.

It had been two whole days since their tilak ceremony was done. They hadn't had an alone time at all. She wanted to meet him before everyone came. The phones calls, video calls hardly helped.

To kill time, Anu switched on the radio and decided to freshen up before he was home.

What with the retro songs playing on the radio, Anu kept imagining Anuj everywhere, admiring her, gazing her, trying to hold her.

Anu chided herself, "pagal chhokri!"

One of her favourite song was playing now, she started lipsyncing, twirling around the room.

Tere bina jiya jaaye na,

Tere bina jiya jaaye na,

Bin tere, tere bin, saajna,

saans mein saans aaye na..

The door opened and he stood there looking at her singing to her heart's content.

Their eyes meet, without breaking the eye contact, they come close.

Anuj raises his brow questioning her, as in if she really cannot live without him?

Anu nods a yes and hugs him tight.

Pleasantly surprised by her action, he embraces her with the same fervour as hers.

"I have missed you so much Anu.."

"Maine bhi aapko bahot miss kiya Anuj.."

Tightening his grip around her, "waise, aap aajkal kaafi bold ho gayi ho Ms Joshi ji"

"Kyunke merawala bahot hendsome hain Kapadia ji", she nuzzled against his chest.

Smiling he planted a kiss on her forehead.

Both sat at the dining table having tea.

They talked about the future, how he intended to make her an equal shareholder in his new company along with his partner friend.

Once this company takes off, he will help Mukku with Kapadia industries too or who knows they might merge both companies to make a bigger one.

She shared how she wished to buy a house for them both, how she wishes they can travel somewhere once in an year.

He suggests they hire a few dance teachers for her DA. So that she doesn't have to toil too much and can persue her other hobbies too.

They also talk of re-starting the restaurant they had planned before, with all housewifes.

"before everyone comes and I forget," he got out a few documents and a small box from his bag.

"Yeh kya hain sab?", she asked.

"Kuch policies aur mutual fund certificates hain Anu, jo maine tumhare aur Mukku ke naam se karwaye hain."

Kuch credit cards, debit cards bhi issi address par aye kuch dino mein. Tumhare naam se. Toh please woh sambhaal kar rakh dena. Shaadi ki tayyariyo mein kahi ghuum na jaye."

She starts protesting, he senses she would decline so he adds, "Anu, zaroori hain thodi investment. Jaise Mukku meri zimmedari hain waise hi tum bhi ho and invest hi kiye hain paise toh please mana nahi karna."

"Rahi baat credit cards aur debit cards ki, toh yeh GK ka hukum hain, unhone kaha, tumhe kabhi bhi kisise paise mangne ki zaroorat nahi padni chahiye, which I agree too."

"Tum kharch karo yaa na karo, but kabhi kisise maangne ki zaroorat nahi, mujhse bhi nahi."

Never ever trusted by the Shahs, she welled up by his gesture.

He pushed a small box and she did the same for him, both ask "yeh kya hain?"

"For you" - Anuj

"Aapke liye" - Anu

Both smile for talking at same time.

Anuj holding her hand, "humara Shagun hua tab maine tumhare liye kuch nahi liya tha, so yeh... he trails off.

"Maine bhi", when she tears up.

"ab emotional hoke rona nahi" and he pushes the box towards her. She does the same.

Both open the box simultaneously.

Anuj's box has a simple one string diamond necklace, with a small, missable engraved letter 'A' in the middle.

Anu's box had a gold chain with a tiny pendant, 'A' letter engraved on a small peacock feather and a flute, denoting Kanhaji protecting the letter A.

Both sign each other with a thumbs up signal and welling up at same time.

With the gifts in hand they head towards her dressing table mirror.

He bends down. Smiling, with trembling hands, she slowly encircles her hands around his neck to put the chain.

Whispers, "Kanhaji aapko hamesha salamat rakhe"

He is speechless as its his first gift from his Anu.

A few moments later, he makes her turn around, so that her back is towards him and fastens the necklace clip on her neck.. his fingers lingering over the strand and touching the neckline at the same time.

Encircling her waist, he rests his face on her shoulder, whispers against her ears, "iss necklace ka har ek hira, humaari har chhoti badi khushiyo ka gawaah hoga" and plants a kiss on her earlobe.

She remembers something, gets out of his embrace, asking him to stay right where he was.

She rushes back to stand in the same position as she was earlier and signals him to hold her again. He raises his brow questioningly.

Looking in the mirror, holding a few currencies, she circles her hand around their reflection, to ward off evil eyes.

"Hume aur hamare pyar ko kabhi kisiki nazar na lagey"
