Agree she is now too guilt ridden and in love..

But still she is impulsive in decision making.. That's why she is quick to realise that virat is the right person for him.. Let her walk on the thorn she has chosen..

The slapping was too much. Ek baar maarti toh phir bhi ok- she had too much bhadaas, she was left at the mandap and shes getting closure now after all these years.
