I'm not sure if we have a new thread yet. But continuing here. Working in industry as writers or creatives is not easy. I won't say Vanku is completely at fault here.
May it be Marketing agency, Radio, TV or anything else. The final decision is taken by the client. I had this experience in both - radio as well as marketing agency. As writers we are expected to give 2 or 3 samples multi-lingual. Once the ads are ready after recording, they are sent to the client. The client may choose any of those or ask for revision. Same with marketing agency.
TV works more or less same way. Here channel is the client. So the PH has to go as per channel's guidelines too.
If the channel approves the track, good. If not, rework. And if SP wants Sai to be portrayed as a typical bahu, even Vanku won't be able to counter that for long. They have to go as per the guideline.
End of the day it's all about rozi roti. They can't let the show shut down and affect livelihood of around 150 people because of creative differences. And if TRPs sink, the PH is warned and if it continues the show is axed.
So it won't be fair to blame any single person out there. As audience we also don't know what they're facing. And they also can't declare such things on SM or anywhere for obvious reasons.
It's almost like if you feel creatively unfulfilled, please leave. Don't let your differences affect the team. So that's a catch every creative person (whichever post) has to go through every single day.
