Other reason could be Disney is paying a pretty penny as they want unique content for their streaming to compete with Prime and Netflix in India. Hence seeing Anupama being the best show that they decided this approach.😆

They have bought many of the movies for millions to be shown on Disney directly.

Well from a business perspective these deals take a long time to set-up. We do not know the timelines behind the screen.

Unfortunately, we will never hear the real goss, as unlike West the writers and directors do not tend to have any Ask me Anything interviews (AMAs). 🤣
