Yes, you are right again, based on emotions towards people, Ram is looking for excuses for what is not necessary, therefore the position of Priya, who sees things directly, regardless of connections with people, causes Ram some shock and admiration. How can a woman be so strong and principled, living in a world where men and strange stereotypes always rule? I am sure that this question is still beating in Ram's head, so he falls in love even more

How he echoed us today! Pri is a no-nonsense person. I remember writing it in one too many posts.

And you did the right thing, because she really is like this: a person of deeds, principles and promises kept. Ram also knows and appreciates it

Loved your analysis on Priya !!

There was , and there will never be another Priya Sood in ITV.

What a girl , what a queen !! She has my entire heart ❤️

Your description about home , instinctively reminds of ZGH song lyrics - " Tujhse kya kehte , tere paas jo ate guzri "

Someone in IF once said Priya is like phoenix !!

You can't break this girl, she stands tall as a mountain !!

Wish she was an OTT platform character with limited episodes and not a mere pawn in the hands of lazy writers of dhum tanna na ITV .

I agree. It is tough to create another one like her.

Pri is like Kashaf yet she is unique. She is a mix of many literary characters but I am glad the writers kept her uniqueness intact.

❤️❤️

Oh yes he will. He finally understood the meaning of love in true sense.

You fight for the person who can't live without which vedika never was.

If he had actually loved vedika like he loves priya he wouldn't have been able to let her go easily.

Especially after spending yrs with her.

And that's great, someone needs to take action and act, not just Priya

The Great Gatsby and BALH 2

It was fascinating to see the parallels between the 'match-making' and the 'office confrontation' episodes. [As a Minnesotan, how can I not talk about the famous book - "The Great Gatsby."] The book is renowned for the usage of color symbolism and the creatives of BALH2 have used colors symbolically to tell their story.

In the match-making episode, we see Ram as Jay Gatsby, whereas in the office confrontation episode, we witness V as Jay Gatsby. We see the juxtaposition of Gatsby and Daisy in the two episodes.

The match-making episode is where Pri came in between Ram, and V. Ram and V stood by the large bay windows overlooking the rain outside. The sky was grey outside, and grey signifies loss of hope, dignity, and failure.

V was here in green symbolized Ram's [Gatsby] fantasy for V [Daisy]. Daisy's dock – "longing hope of reunion with Daisy."

Ram in maroon whereas Pri in yellow dress and white stole. Yellow is also the color of gold. If yellow is an enchantment on the outside, then gold symbolizes wealth and high social position. White is innocence. Maroon is not red but symbolizes courage, confidence, and indecision.

When Ram lost V to Shashi, analogous to Gatsby losing Daisy to Tom Buchanan, Jay Gatsby [Ram] went on to gain enormous wealth. But as we witnessed V being Ram's illusion, the real Daisy turned out to be Priya in white and yellow attire, just like the flower daisy. There were no surprises when we saw Ram follow Pri, and then their first fight ensued in the parking lot in midst of the rain.

Pri walked in through the glass door and to the embrace in the office confrontation. She turned and left. This time, Ram and V were standing by the glass windows, but the Venetian blinds were closed. The closed room obscured the outside view. The room was devoid of any sunlight. It was grey again. Grey signifies moral decadence, disillusionment, and bleakness.

Ram is 'Daisy' in green here; Green is hope, new beginnings.

V is 'Gatsby' in red. The color of blood serves as a warning of the violent intentions. Red also foreshadows the insecurity that V [Gatsby] is facing. Daisy's dock – "longing hope of reunion with Daisy."

Pri is in Indian blue and white. Indian blue is associated with loyalty and purity, innocence for white.

Like last time, this time also Ram unchained himself and followed Pri, leaving V behind again, to the parking lot for another round of the fight. This time, though, they both came to the [sun]light.

I loved the use of colors, setting, and parallelism in both scenes, kudos to the EK camp for pulling it through! ❤️

It took me a while to grasp the meaning and the feeling of what you're trying to convey. There were lines where I just went back trying to memorise how beautiful it was.

I was already ecstatic with the episode and your drabble made me fall all the more in love with this show.

I love Priya a little too much that my heart explodes each time she gets hurt. I have to thank IF and all these beautiful members for making me understand her even better.

Your understanding of Ram and Priya, the colours, the rain, the dialogues it was Legendary! Dissecting those marking points completed the scene.

When I question myself for watching a EK show after more than 5 years, I'll be coming back to read this.

If you ever create a book club, do let me know.

Thank you for putting the time and effort in writing this masterpiece.
