"Huh... why are the lights not on yet?"

Feeling for the switches she switched on the lights.

"He said he was already home... Now where did he go?"

"Behind you"

"Huh..."

She turned around in shock and slipped and fell. He caught her on reflex and steadied her. She slapped him lightly.

"Is this the way to scare people? When will you behave like a grown up adult?"

As she chided him, something bling caught her eyes and she let her eyes roam around the room. The whole room was filled with balloons and a gold foil balloon saying 5K hung in the center of the room. Anuj smiled at the change in her reaction.

"What is..."

"Didn't your first video on YouTube reach 5000 views?"

"Yes... Samar told me today."

"So... I thought of congratulating you... I got something for you wait."

As he left her alone, she looked around the room once more admiring his efforts. Her eyes filled up as the memory of her first cheque flashed before her eyes. She remembered how conveniently the entire family had ignored her that day. She had never dared to hope to celebrate her successes since then. When Samar had informed her about the views she had felt elated but hadn't thought of sharing it with him as he had had a very busy week. Yet he had taken the time to surprise her. She felt her heart melt with the warmth of his love.

"Tada..."

His voice broke her thoughts and she looked up and gave him a smile. He held two big bowls in his hand. She raised an eyebrow.

"I know... I know you already had dinner. But this is dessert."

"What is it?"

"Strawberries and whipped cream"

"Huh?"

"Try it... You would love it."

She looked at the bowls he offered one bowl had Strawberries and the other had whipped cream. Nodding at him, she sat down on the dining chair, took a strawberry, dipped it in the bowl of whipped cream and put it into her mouth. As the sweetness of the cream and tartness of the strawberry hit her taste buds she let out a moan.

"Mmmmmm... how do you do this... this is amazing..."

"Is this the way to eat? When will you eat like a grown up adult?"

He mimicked her earlier tone. She grinned.

"Really, Mr. Kapadia? How do you eat like an adult?"

He leant closer to her and whispered with a naughty glint in his dark eyes.

"Let me teach you Mrs. Kapadia."

Slowly he took a strawberry and dipped it in the bowl of cream. He brought it close to her and gently yet firmly rubbed it sensuously on her lower lip such that her lip was coated with the juice of strawberry and cream. She closed her eyes trying to surpress the butterflies that had started their flight at the bottom of her stomach in anticipation of his next move. Just as she guessed, he replaced the strawberry with his lips and gently sucked the mixture from her lips. She tried knotting her fingers tight to suppress the moan that had made it's way to her throat but failed badly at it. As her moan of pleasure hit his ears, he pulled back slightly

"And that is how you do it, my Lady."

She snorted at the teasing tone of his voice and grabbed the bowl of Strawberries. He chuckled. They were in for a sweet night.

It had been the best night ever. They had lots of fun sucking of cream and Strawberries off each other. As she walked into the kitchen, her face coloring up with different shades of red remembering last night's events, she knew Strawberries now had a whole new meaning for her. Shaking her head to clear her foggy mind, she opened the fridge to take out milk for boiling. There staring in front of her was an unknown packet. She took it out and opened it to see a black forest cake and a note attached to it. She opened the note

'We will definitely miss you at the party today. - Nitin'

"Good morning wifey..."

"Anuj?... This?"

"Oh...I forgot to tell you. Nitin gave it as I didn't attend the success party yesterday."

"Success party?"

"Yea... remember the 10 cr deal we locked last week? The client loved the idea so much that he credited 5 cr yesterday even before we started work. So everyone decided to have a small success party yesterday."

"Why didn't you...?"

"If we would have gone to that party couldn't have celebrated your victory the way we did yesterday..."

"But.."

"Hey... We did celebrate together last week when we got that deal. If I had told you about the party you would have insisted that I go there and we couldn't have celebrated your success the way we did. There will always be another success party but never another time when we could celebrate your first video's views. Anyways, I would rather have Strawberries and whipped cream with you than go to a million success parties."

As he leant in to capture her lips, she realized he had successfully redefined another word in her vocabulary... Priority.
