I do agree mostly. Meethi used the exact words that would trigger Imlie— someone who must have grown up with many taunts about her birth.

Mums have the way to get kids to do their bidding. I honestly cannot excuse Meethi here. Imlie needs proper long-winded explanations and apparently only Aru is proportionately good at giving them to her.
