No mother will want their children to suffer and if she needs to become strict sometimes for children wellbeing they won't waste a second. Here meethi may not be educated but she have good life experiences. She and Aryan are the only persons who witnessed imlie suffering on her first marriage. Top of it even though meethi was Co ordial with Tripathis, she don't like them and its reflected on her taunts on all marriage functions. She and imlie dreamed that she should move on and achieve something on her career but nothing is happening because of her savior syndrome and so called apne love for Tripathis. Meethi and Aryan who loves and knows imlie well don't afraid to become villian for her.

The day will come for imlie to realize her foolishness and that day she will regret what she told her mother and also all the accusations she thrown at her husband.

my issue is not with her running interference or her attempting to make Imlie understand what is right. She is a mother and has every right to do so. My issue is with Imlie perceiving this as being forced. She is going to blame Aru for it and the way she severed ties with Meethi was downright disgusting. My issue is with Imlie not realising on her own the importance and value of Aryan in her life.

My issue is with Imlie being an idiot

When I said why was Meethi an exception I said it from a place of hope that Imlie would have realised and come back on her own. Meethi in her own place is right. As a mother and as a well wisher she is right. But I am sick and tired of Imlie just not getting it, she acted like she was being held at gun point when Aru gave her the choice again, she threw her bangles on the floor in relief like she had done when he had saved her from the brothel ladies

I did not want anyone influencing because that realisation needs to come from Imlie. But Meethi running interference was not wrong.

I can understand why you are getting frustrated with what Imlie did today. Instead of what happened between Meethi - Imlie today and instead of a rude Imlie, what we expected was Meethi trying to drilling some sense into Imlie who after hearing her words try to introspect why she behaved in certain way in many circumstances w.r.to Aryan. I am disappointed that it didn't happen, but I am not frustrated. Firstly because, w.r.to Meethi-Imlie relationship, I am expecting some twists to happen as explained in one of my posts in the main forum. Secondly because, I am glad with a slight development that has happened in Imlie's version of Aryan. The girl who was not trusting him, who called him rakshas, who believed that he is a dhongi, who even misinterpreted Aryan's confessions and burning his hand as his plan to coerce her, today was ready to believe his 'words' and was not doubting that he might have let her go, but would be back behind Aditya as part of his revenge. Not for once she thought of Aditya or the Ts being in danger. That for me is a great development from Imlie's side. Rest, let's wait and watch what the CVs have in store for us with our Hunter and junglee. 😊

Below is what I have written in another post about the same.

I am not that affected by what happened between Meethi and Imlie today. I am not also angry with Imlie for cutting off her ties with Meethi. Probably because I feel that the CVs are preparing for a painful breakdown of Imlie w.r.to Meethi. If you remember the Malayalam version, there we got to see Imlie selling off her MS after a painful struggle between her mind and heart, inorder to arrange money for Meethi's medical expenses. And in this Hindi version, we once got Aryan asking the same question when Imlie had handed over her salary to pay the loan for T house. That time she just dodged that question casually, as she was blinded with her concern for the Ts. Also Imlie putting the Ts on the same pedestal as SK & Meethi has to be course corrected. I may be sounding highly optimistic. But, right now I am waiting eagerly to see how Imlie's breakdown when she gets to hear about Meethi having a terminal illness. Maybe that might knock some senses in her on how wrong she was today to Meethi and probably Meethi during the next meeting might reveal to Imlie on all the situations Aryan had always promised Meethi to protect Imlie from all dangers and probably the truth that he had took Meethi's consent before forcing Imlie through the rasams.
