Unfortunately the makers will redeem her. She is a gray character.
This is why the kaands she has created thus far have not been truly harmful. The MD was for her own career and it backfired with her losing money. I still want the family to ask about her schooling so it can be exposed for what she did. Because she should have gotten a letter by now for admission. If she is a state topper getting in shouldn't be a problem. Imagine what she would have to explain to her family 😆
The accident truth will be she did not hit anyone. She only drove under influence and Akshara ended up getting hurt. The justification that Arohi will put forth is "no one got hurt in the end and she was just really scared." The only thing she could get in trouble for is driving under the influence and taking the medicines from the hospital. Taking medicines form the hospital should warrant some disciplinary actions from Birla Hosptial. But she did not see any patients while under the influence she was leaving work.
So the only thing that can be said about Arohi is she is someone who never does the right thing unless it is in her own self interest or benefit. My problem is in the writing if we are suppose to view her as gray and maybe see her as redeemable she has done very little to warrant that. One second concern that Akshara had a bruise on her head does not cut it. She is a doctor first thing is to make sure your sister is okay and give her a checkup obviously when you are no longer under the influence. Have her have more bonding scenes with the rest of the family. These details help in building the narrative that there is something worth rooting for or request for understanding for the character. I am sorry crying to the picture on the phone of her parents did little to move me when she did not do anything else.
This is why some of the other gray characters on the show I have a bit more empathy for because I see the details in their characters. Or maybe their acting is just better so I see it?
