Atrocious - The genre is romantic? Really, it should be horror

Started watching this show from US after getting recommended from friends in India. The show started out with a positive note. Strong willed and fierce girl who wanted to fulfill her dreams. I liked the ML being supportive, the family drama was obnoxious from the beginning, but now it’s just plain toxic, listless and weary. The story is all over, what ever happened to the girl who wanted to pursue her dreams…the story has become a cheap less than a B grade movie, I am sure if given a choice the creators would not mind showing lustily actions😡, the characters of the family elders are disgusting, what type of moral dose it reflect upon a Indian joint family traditions. Surprisingly the show is 2nd. Growing up in the 90 missed all those uplifting women oriented shows on DD Udan, Rajani, Aarohan etc. Bring in a new story, uplift the female lead or genre is misguided it should horror/thriller.

After a gap of 20 years wanted to watch some Indian serials. You are right not falling for any recommendations any more 😜. Should have know saw the IMBD rating 😬. I think this forum is more fun that than the crappy series. I like the twist and takes from few members more enjoyable 😉

Hi!

I'm sure even your friends must be feeling sorry that they've recommended this masterpiece to you 😳

There are many people on this forum who are on the same page regarding the 2nd spot, including me. This is nothing but a fluke. Their stars are very much aligned, hence the very coveted number 2 spot which they are very proud of. 😳

Some people find comfort in watching shows about people who are worse off than they are. Security can be found in seeing characters experience similar or worse things than they do. This is what psychologists refer to as social comparison. This psychological theory asserts that individuals gauge their own self-worth based on how they compare to others.

It’s not too late to change the storyline. If the show creators are loosing it, we can help ☺️. I think the FL lead is a young lady, should start fresh, leave her husband and in-laws and independently finish her education, if the ML really cares he should stick with her… we’ll this is realistic, but I guess there is no drama without the rest of the characters… guess I am not helping 😕. OR get a new ML for the young F, who is all that the current lead is not—this too might have been tried, well I am failing, No help…looks beyond redeeming…

Honestly speaking after samrat reentry the show became too toxic, and bhabhi got more free pass to express her feelings openly. Now being an elderperson of the house kaku pushing didi to keep sai away from virat. Such a disgusting thinking. And samrat happily helping wife for her immoral behaviour.

Are people really siding with Tejo and her behavior/attitude?

I have been reading a lot of posts and comments of how Neil is to blame, he forced Tejo to marry him and ruined her life. Did Neil forcefully...
