Oh yes, I'm clearly against the influence of the ruling party in India - I never hid it!

But you are wrong when you think to having perceived "my party" through my posts, because there isn't a "my party" when it comes to India. If you really looked through my posts, you would know that (but that may not support the base motives you impute to me).

And yes again, I have an agenda which means that I take almost nothing at face value - be it news, statements, accusations etc. that I can't verify or which aren't verified in a transparent way.

Coming to Aryan - if you still don't want to acknowledge that the NCB/Sameer Wankhede/BJP-people trapped Aryan and used a faked case to go against his father then you should - maybe - check your own inclination instead of mine which I don't hide and did not hide (where did I pretend to be "objective"...cite me!).

And I am saying you can't independently verify anything! (Y)our sources are public, which means we have access to the same set of "facts" and those are invariably biased, so we can only form opinions based off of those. At that point, it's your opinion vs. mine and we will reach an impasse very quickly.

Objective truth may exist in science but even in science subjects there's no universal consensus when it comes to certain facts. Current affairs and politics, are definitely not science. It's mostly "he said, she said". They come with a lot of context which is easy to overlook.

At most, we can repose our trust in courts and hope that they aren't under the thumb of any political power, that they are impartial, that they will get to the bottom of a dispute based on evidence but even courts are tainted and their decisions are not accepted by one and all. What do you do then?

I agree with you...(fine for me as I don't want a fight with you)

My reservation is/was about the use of EVMs and it is proved that one can misuse them (I don't mean hacking but other methods). So, when I saw the numbers of the election results, I vehemently douted that after all what has happened since 2014, Indian people would give the BJP such a landslide victory...

And what has happened after 2014?

Well I already talked about Electricity, water, bank accounts, toilets and houses in my other posts. 😆

My brother said his wife got her passport delivered in 24 hours.
Digital payments are easier and faster than ever before.

Roadways and infrastructure development is all time high.

But I am sure this doesn’t count for an average voter.

It does count - as it is positive.

That still does not take away the other things which I will not enumerate. My point of view is 6000km away but my emotional view is very much saddened by all the negative things the ruling party favours.

If something can be misused, more than one party could do it too. If in UP, BJP is abusing the system, then in WB, didi could be doing it too. We should be cynical of all political parties then, for logical consistency.

Also, if there's a formula to this, one party should be winning all seats from all states at all times whether it's in India or in US or in any other democracy but we know that it's not the case. Power changes hands.

If you have seen fraud occur on a scale that could have effected a different outcome, you should let us know your sources.

No, I have no "sources" except my own thoughts (which I wrote down) and the knowing that one can temper with the CVMs.

And yes, you are right, my doubt should apply to anyone who gets - imo - very surprising results.

Nai has lo. Facts based baatein to sahen nahi hogi. Aur kar bhi Kya sakte ho. Yeh to keh nahi sakte ki govt ne toilets nai banvaye. Dard dikh raha hai hasi mein.

Aapki Momata ke Bengal mein 12 people have been burnt alive today. Hail democracy.

I am sure that’s the kind of govt you would want for India.

Clochette and I both have always been against Modi/BJP...none of us have ever pretended to be nonpartisan....

I despise almost all politicians equally...except a very few...Like Obama, Atal Vihari Vajpei and Indira Gandhi to name some...but elections anywhere is choosing the lesser of the evils...and for me anyone/any party..is lesser evil when compared to Modi/BJP....I didn't want to vote for elections in USA this time....because I don't like Biden/Kamala either....but then who was at the other end...it was Trump..so i did vote for Biden....

I dislike anyone like Trump/Modi who have an agenda of dividing the people and creating hate....Thank God...Americans threw out Trump...👍🏼

It’s ok to be Anti but itna to mat extreme ho jao that you can’t even take differing points of someone who is presenting it in civil manner. Every post of mine is mocked wherever I talk about developments or govt schemes or actual work being done by govt. so what do you want me to talk about? I can’t do religion qtiyapa 24x7. That’s tiring. I want to talk about actual work. Some of you are like kuaen ke mendhak. Always propagating one specific agenda and nothing else.

I mean can’t you even digest the one good line? How sad.

Mocking everyone who doesn’t align with you. Quite the tolerant bunch! 👏
