Thank God , haven't been watching tamil serials in the last few years. I know many old relatives had watched this and i was told that it was a hit series.

Am told this is based on that show only, but here, Anuj sachdeva is not doing a cameo as far as i know, RS will tweak to suit the hindi audience may be.

no no am not kannadiga; am tamiz... those words i wrote were tamizh,..but, may be there are a few common words in south indian languages.
