With all the creativity I prefer the cliché over this. P tries to spike Sai to humiliate her, but V drinks it accidentally. P feeds Sai adulterated drink not knowing what happened with the first one. And then Sai n V have some cordial convo being locked up in their room with P at her best job “chaukidaari”.

Vahini is abusive term for Pakhi because it shows her place in the family and Virat's life. The thing is everyone knows how pure that term is hence they dont dare to use it on her. Even Sai will not use it because, by using the term on her they will degrade it. Everyone knows in the family by now Pakhi harbours feelings for Virat which are not acceptable, they dont voice it. Their house has special status for 'vahini' be it BK or Ashwini and now even Sai! All are worshipped as Vahinis. Therefore I guess there is reluctance by everyone to refer to Pakhi as Virat's vahini. That is the reason they dont show Virat ever calling her Vahini. Because he also knows, she doesnt deserve it. I got this feeling from the story and dialogues, not making it up.

However, only sammy referred to Virat as Devar to Pakhi once and she freaked out. I think in their bedroom I guess. Because for Sammy it is important to remind her that Virat is her Devar and younger in relationship. I hope only Sammy in future will use this against Pakhi to keep her in check.

I hope you understand what I am trying to say. There is an undercurrent understanding of her feelings towards Virat by the entire family, even Sai. So they dont use 'Vahini' for her to keep the respect of the word and bond.

Virat hasn't seen normal marital life either... Hid parents had a pathetic marital life... He has seen his father never respected his mother and slept in a different bed.. So living with another woman or separating bed is normal for him.. He is doing what he has seen his father has done to his mother..

I understand that bit. But she needs to be called out for her hypocrisy. I agree that Sai may not be using that term for her due to the same reasons. While I also feel that “didi” is the term is she used since they met and the complex equations she was exposed to. Even V has called out to her that she is his brother’s wife and there needs to be a certain boundary that she shouldn’t cross. But again if BK knows this isn’t she pitting two brothers against each other? And someone who harps so much about family, principles and decorum, allows it in the name of keeping her power in hand?

Yes the entire family knowing the past will be apprehensive to highlight that point while they all would definitely have noticed this point. BK herself always calls her out as V’s friend

I dont think so 🤣 she said his family....I have never heard her address herself as bhabhi/vahini. It is like commiding suicide for her 😆

Whenever she wants to establish a relationship or right over V she uses these lines.

I have a feeling Sai will go totally opposite, she is now not going to be bothered by Pakhis antics. Now she has accepted virat is hers so no need to be territorial! That is what will throw Virat and pakhi both off! Sai will bring all sensuality for Virat and around him!! She will care less of what Pakhi does.

See till now Sai had the feeling she was the outsider now she has fully accepted Virat is hers! Honestly that’s exactly what Virat is hoping for not to be bothered about what Pakhi does and concentrate on their relationship!!! You know there is that jealousy or in the back of your mind that Virat can never be hers now all that is lifted! So it’s like ab jise Ana ho aye Virat sir mere hi hai!! 🥰

If you see the psychology of characters here, all of them are hypocritical except Sai hence they have their own reasons to not point out this relationship and keep it as is.

1. BK doesnt highlight Pakhi's relationship to control Sai. She knows how to use the dynamics between these two to her advantage.

2. Ashwini did point out many times she is his bhabhi and she knows Pakhi riles up with that. However, she uses it selectively. Never in front of Virat, because highlighting this inconvenience is pointing out her son's past also.

3. Sonali enjoys the drama and underplays their relation and always insinuates it as illicit. So no way she points it out.

4. Men as I said, have high regards for their own vahini, so they will not bring it up for the reasons I mentioned before.

5. Mohit sees Sai as his Vahini, worships her(before). Bringing up Pakhi as Vahini for Virat will be comical for him. Or Blasphemous to use with the same meaning of his and Sai's relationship

The only people who can use it openly is either Virat or Sammy to show her place. Even Virat will not use it, not when she approaches him at every opportunity. Imagine being in his place, it will be cringe to call her Vahini. All he can do is remind her that she is his elder brother's wife, which he did multiple times, not sure if he did in front of the family though.

Only person who can ever show her place is Sammy. because it is important for him and his marriage to set some ground rules. And making sure Pakhi knows her place is completely in his hands. Hope he gathers courage to do this. He is not hypocritical like others when it comes to this matter, but he is still evaluating her and giving her chances. He will be the one who might address her as Virat's vahini in future, not sure if it is in KD though.

Sorry, i just brought these points out to see some sense why writers deliberately avoid bringing up this word "vahini' for virat.

PS: Sai doesnt point it out because she knows the truth that Pakhi will never consider herself as Virat's vahini. She sticks by the facts. :D
