A very important question I have

According to the show

Kulshreshts are joint middle class famiy.

We can call them upper middle class family as all the males are bringing money no one is a free loader in the house.

I mean nothing against anyone

But aajkal middle class families mein atleast 1 toh hota he hain.

Why these ITV make AC such a big issue which can't be afforded by middle class families?

Definetly har kamre mein na ho but 1-2 room as their drawing room is sort of open so in kitchen and dinning area mein toh ho he sakta haina in Kulshreshts house ?

Why ITV loves insulting and shows middle class with no ac or luxuries ?

I mean aajkal toh room coolers ke bhi option hain, they are not costly like AC or give big electricity bills and work as fine as AC.

Idk what they will show this week but Maya is insulting them for AC and it is such a typicial ITV behaviour.

Anu's room could fit 2 bedrooms in my home

all have their own bedrooms with attached washrooms

and that huge hall and attached kitchen

maybe it has been in the family for long and they just got it renovated but still feels a bit too much

I think they might be trying to show that Anu’s family is more traditional and conservative. Could be that they choose to raise their kids without techs and luxury items. Maybe it’s more about Sanskar than luxury.

ITV makes issue of any thing n by showing middle class they will even show Anu having 90s ke zamaane ka phatphatiya scooter🤣 jo uske papa or bade papa se usko virasat mein mila..😆

Here is my reason for not having AC. Just a pov. Its not about being middle or upper middle class.. its about the old houses and its construction.

Kulshreshthas are living in old Lucknow and this might be their palatial house.

these older palatial houses are constructed with the materials that keeps houses not so hot during summers and not so cold during winters and always cozy and with such design and architecture expertise that they do have natural air and light all year around. So even fan would work.. n gives you AC wali thandak with just a fan..

I am telling this as My grandpa's house ( where all 3 brothers n families living together till 80s) was in old Ahmedabad possibly 100+ year old construction n when it was not renovated with its old architecture it used to have natural light and air year around. My grandpa sold his part of the house to his younger brother n family n they renovated few years ago and now they need AC as the design doesn't allow natural air and light inside.

Even one of my relatives have same palatial house like kulshrethas in a different city. and it is also constructed 100+ years ago, with big windows and jharokhas (balcony) and it still has natural light and air circulation that even in 45 degree hot summer day you feel cool inside the house n just fan will do the work..

n those 70-100 years old houses used to have open courtyard , jharokhas with big sized rooms n one never needed ACs.

No they are not financially well . Bade papa and anu's dad are retired (insurance agent or something like that according to OG.)

Yug is a clerk i guess (in Marathi amey was office boy)

Golu chachu is at some post in bank.

Goli bhua is school teacher

All others are house wives . They might have old house (ancestors house that's why it is big ) . The construction and design looks old . There is a pillar in anu's room which look odd to me .

As for luxury bade papa is miser he doesn't whole heartedly spend . And if we think it does make sense as it is such a big joint family nobody knew when any emergency can come . They should have some amount safe side for it.

This is already 2 marriage in such a short span of time . With goli bhua marrying just after AnuGun's marriage they will definitely suffer financial crises.

Yug is Civil engineer in this version..

Possibly all are working in government sector..😆
