He is the prime minister of India.

This movie is about India and how the Indians suffered a genocide.

What is wrong in meeting the PM and asking him for his support and encouragement? That too such an important film.

And FYI, Do you think Manmohan Singh would have even allowed the makers to meet him, when he himself invited the terrorist Yasin Malik? (Bitta in reel).

Honestly liberals, calm down.

Boy, you sound so unhinged. Just calm down already. 😆

Looking at the likes of you going around enraged and spouting nonsense against anyone and everyone who doesn’t exactly agree with you on a small forum like this, I cannot imagine what the movie is doing to the people in real life. I hope this is just a reaction of a few and not of the majority.

I respect the genuine sentiments but there are many who are using the KPs to push forward their own agenda...like Vivek Ranjan himself.....thus diluting the pain of the KPs..

What agenda?

To make his film a success?

Then what is wrong in that?

He had the guts and talent to create this important film. This should be promoted and watched by all.

This will be a small step for the rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandits.

This movie has started a conversation. Almost 50% of the things shown, I had no idea. Then I went back and watched so many videos and read old news articles.

The director deserves success because he covered a subject which was silenced for a long long time.

Different people have different reactions to such movies. You can’t pluck out the most extreme reaction and blame whole world for it.

Kashmiri PANDIT exodus happened due to fake secularism that was practiced in the country for years. Where one groups’s voices, concerns and pain was silenced to appease the others.

The selectivity and appeasement was so sickening that the then governor had no choice but to ask the pandits to go away from Kashmir instead of controlling the violence against them.

The selectivity is so appalling that while most of the KP’s houses were vandalised and occupied, the media would only show the one or two houses that was not occupied.

The appeasement was so sickening again that the same neighbours who drove the KPs away, plundered their families by rape and murder were shown as being sympathetic to KPs.

Having said this, the J&K of 1990s and today is different. There are more chances of KPs returning to Kashmir and living peacefully among their other KP families than it was ever before.

The appeasement is gone which pains many today, but it was much needed and KP case is just one of the examples of why fake secularism and appeasement emboldens one group to an extent of using violence against other to drive them away.

One more thing I can say is even Kashmiri Muslims are changing. Previously the KMs were controlled by handful of Mullahs, separatists and politicians who used hate as fodder. Not gradually the power is going back to normal Kashmiri. Shah Faesal is such an example.

The generation now is apologetic about what happened in 1990s , not everyone but a good percentage says it was wrong to drive away the natives from their homeland. Also there is another group with strong notion that KPs don’t belong to Kashmir anymore and they should not return.

Politics and reality always has two side of stories, you can’t pick up the extremists view and paint everyone same.

Honestly liberals, calm down.

How do you call someone a LIBERAL when they are out to cancel anyone , just anyone who supports a different ideology than them?

That’s supposed to be a joke right?
