Obviously he cannot melt right now because makers have to save some of that for after shaadi, as Akshu will be the one to make amends between Harsh and Abhi too...and she will win over Harsh too in that process... the other possibility to me seems to be that when Harsh sees Akshu fighting for Abhi admist the adoption kaand, he will melt significantly....until then, he might soften, but no way he transforms over night!!
