I love Telugu movies and watch them with subs.
But I usually refrain from watching the ones with the Megastar/Powerstar/Superstar etc wala lot. Wo thoda zyada ho jata hai.
(There's only so much misogyny you can sideline in a movie)
Allu Arjun, Nani, Ram, Ram Charan, Nithin n all ki movies I can watch. (Although even they have some sexist vibes, but utna nahi hota).
I think I only liked Prabhas in Bahubali and a bit in Mirchi.
Sai Pallavi and Nithya Menon (and some of Anushka's) movies are usually ❤️
Their music industry is thriving (and thankfully not dependent on remakes).
In engineering college hostels watching Telugu movies with subs is pretty normal (just like KDramas but that usually happens in girls hostels).

Which industry is it not there in? Katrina recently did a song like that despite being a top actress.
oh nothing wrong. I'd say every industry needs such actresses. No complaints here, not a word😉
Dont form opinion without knowing things.
I usually watch thrillers, suspense or horror.
Not a single movie i watched had heriones dancing showing what in the rain.
Some movies i watched were ratasaan, bagamathie, nayanthara movies etc
good for you. Of course there's nothing wrong even if your interests were more pedestrian.😊
ps- I like thrillers and suspense, just not horror.
Because Telugu movies are entertaining.
Telugu directors know what audience like to see.
Bollywood is so out of touch with audience.

Why do you think that is?
Bollywood lovers make me laugh. They get excited over Gangubai’s 40crore collection over the span of four days. Meanwhile, some south films have made that much in one day🤣
Is there any good Telugu horror films?
As a Telugu person idk how to feel about this...
On one hand I feel proud that people from other parts are enjoying/hyping up our movies, but at the same time I want to literally ROTFL when I hear people saying Telugu movies as a whole are more intelligent, more varied, have less bold songs/scenes or less nepotism in them because that couldn't be further from the truth 🤣

90% of Telugu movies are cringe...
I used to feel the same too... But after the repeated shit BW has been spewing, I enjoy watching telugu, Tamil and whatever comes on Sony max or anything and have slowly started watching them on OTT as well. In fact watched pushpa as soon as it was released on prime! Totally like it compared to the massively hyped gehraiyan, Mimi or Shershaa...
Yes the dance moves are really cringe and some highly uncomfortable - pushpa had two songs which are very popular but the dance moves are vulgar af! Samantha rocking on his lap🤣🤣🤣, and rashmika again with some awkward hip moves. Also telgu movies has a fascination with navel / waist scene which again is cringe.
