Akshara is such an irritating female lead - Page 3

I feel both Harshad and Pranali are doing their best but the biggest problem is the writing. After going through last few pages I feel just like too many cooks spoil a dish, too many writers are spoiling this show. Probably RS should stick to just 1 or 2 writers and give the entire show's responsibility to them.

Coming to Akshara, I feel there was nothing great about her character since the beginning. She is a typical ITV FL, mahaan, sanskari, sacrificing etc. Right now what I feel is she is sandwiched between her family and Abhimanyu. Probably for the first time in her life she wished something for herself and now she's feeling like is my wish to marry Abhimanyu creating trouble in my family. Earlier she could very easily take the decision of sacrificing her love for her sister but now she's finding it hard to even think about it and on the other hand she's also not able to understand that Abhi doesn't expect her to disown her family for him. He just wants her to give him equal importance as her family.

I feel the writers need to improve Akshara's characterization.

Ya but she looks good in Saree. Hopefully after marriage she might get good looks

I have noticed that if the scenario or scene isn't convincing she goes OTT. I mean there is an inherent feeling of yeh bakwas karne ko bol rahe hain. It effects the overall performance.

You have to check Barrister Babu, Pranali rocked.

Here when the script and screen play come from the baback end, the director himself is at a loss as to what should be done.

A strong script enhances the characters and over all plot.

The actors and production team's craft and skills is put to test when the story is weak and the characters become inconsistent.

If they falter then trps also won't come. For us fictional characters are human beings playing their respective roles. We need to also relate with them.

I am not able to connect with Abhira post confession.

It's true it's neither HC's age or Pranali's age or either of their looks. The story sucks, and baki ke departments se bhi koi redeeming quality nahin dikhti. Both the leads characters have nothing to attract, koi chahe jo bhi boley. If it wasn't HC doing Abhimanyu's role absolutely nobody would be finding any good in the ML..Abhimanyu would've been seen for what he is without any sugar coating.

IMO the screen play writer and creative directors are from the old whereas the script cum storytellers were hired exclusively for the 3rd generation.

There is bound to be creative clashes.

Mr Shahi has to take care. His focus and attention has been diverted to his mega budget show on Star Bharat.

Valentine's Day, Anisha or Kaisha were definitely preplanned to buy time. Their tactics backfired.

So true. I feel the essence of the show is lost too. This show never focused on a good story but it was always about drama, lavish sets, costumes, naach gaana etc. All that are not seen in Gen 3 episodes. Abhirohi marriage preparations and all other festival celebrations are so dull. I remember Kartik-Vedika marriage brought huge trps to the show due to the drama, sets and costumes. Here, drama ke naam pe they're showing Manish shutting the gate on Abhimanyu's face, Abhi playing victim card, Manish getting a heart attack. This was not what yrkkh used to be.
