Good episode.. seriously, I loved it . it reaffirmed my belief why hate some characters so much😂😂

I am not at all surprised with Adi's antics of WIN BACK IMLIE MISSION... when this guy has done self-reflection or introspection of his mistakes till now. His trying to win Imlie being still married to Malini is so Aditya Kumar Tripathi. he has done it in past n he is doing it now.

Coming to Imlie, I understood her being emotional thats normal.. Earlier, when Adi was accusing her/being rude with her it was easy for her to deal with him. her real test would be when he is in his lachargi/bechargi wala mode it will be difficult for her. she has gone thru this phase so many times n succumbed to his request.

the other problem with Imlie is that her mind set of hum ek baar jeete hai ek baar marte hai aur pyaar bhi ek baar karte hai... Oh. SRK kya kya seekha rakha hai Imiya ko.🤣Dont know somehow, I feel, may be this track may give her break-free from this mindset like how earlier PD gave it to her from jabardasti shaadi...🤞🤞🤞🤞

ASR...this man😎, yaar. loved how he missed her bak-bak n got distracted while driving car.. their small bickering scene is Cafe... Imlie's way caring of Aryan are bit different 😂. Aru knows his jungli so well... he knew she something is bothering her..

Between why Imlie became so hyper. Was that regret that there can't be anything between her n Aryan as she believes in one life one love🤣 I know I know i m being delusional..🤣🤣

Highlight of today's episode for me was What Aryan said about ek khatin rasta n ek galat rasta.. He was so right... this is thing which has happened with Imlie.. every time she has given chance to BS n her relation she has only got disappointment n back to where she started. hope uske kuch pale pada ho.

I still don't think Aryan will force her.. Today also he asked her to choose as no SRK nor ASR can show her right path for her.. she has to decide for her.

But you know what I realised today, AKT is a trigger for Imlie.

Just a week back, and a day back in Imlieland, Gilheri teased Aryan and Imlie in a similar way as the cafe-owners. For them making a cute couple. Imlie's reaction was not that extreme. It was mostly cute.

Cue few weeks back, and a week back in Imlieland, AKT came to Rathore Mansion and issued baseless accusations against Aryan and Imlie, for being in a relationship that enables Aryan to buy Imlie a whole house. Imlie had reacted in a way similar to today.

Today, when AKT spoke his frankly cringe-worthy dialogues, it could be seen that Imlie was only hurting when he was talking. And her thinking on them is, I hate it, but kind of obvious.

She has been asked to marry her abuser, by her abuser.

Then these people, people she's never known, say they make a cute couple and we have Imlie reacting like she did. Freaking out over being married again. Freaking out over making a decision that will inevitably lead to betrayal only.

And since Aryan is there, she lashes out at him, exactly like the last time.

From personal experience, can tell you that the creepiness will only increase to a point where she fears every moment she's at the office and will question her own sanity. Her behaviour made immense sense to me today. It was all so triggering

When (abusive) people feel entitled to forgiveness, and guilt and shame you for not allowing them access to you, it's another level of mental torture.

They already contrasted Aryan's understanding of forgiveness, and AKT's entitlement towards it.

I detest every form of violence, but Imlie's creepy jiju needs to beaten in full Delhi-style. Imlie's volcanic fury is what he deserves. And I so wish that they give us that.

So sorry that you have had to go thru something like this.

I hope everything is okay now.

People like AKT need to be punished and I hope the makers of the show will portray this in the near future.

But sadly can't expect something logical and an imp issue like workplace harassment (sexual or otherwise) esp. against women being handled in GUL's shows.

I agree with your posts about lodging a complaint and getting it on record. I don't know if we'll ever see Imlie take such a step (though how fantastic would that be?!). They've justified not sending a rapist to jail because she's pregnant so I don't know if they'll cringe at the stalker tendencies being glorified as repentance and heartache.

Another reason why Aryan is a better man (as though we needed more reasons to fall in love with a fictional character)

I am quite volcanic as well and was completely aware that I was being emotionally blackmailed and abused. There is, however, nothing more poisonous than an entitled man hell-bent on leeching on you to sustain his codependency. They don't care about consent or assertion of agency.

Imlie, anyway, lacks awareness of abusive patterns, so her whiplash will be even more pathetic till Aryan puts an end to it

Hopefully the accident tomorrow will be a trigger to her fury.

Komal Ben!!! That is some insightful writing right here (no wonder your chapters are always spot on for the characters you choose).

You are correct. AKT is a trigger for her that makes her react in a way that might seem excessive to those who haven't endured the abuse that she has. And seeing that Aditya seems hell bent on giving her no space, it makes the feeling of a noose on her neck more real to hear someone casually assume that she's in a relationship.

If anyone will see this trigger as it is, its Aryan. And I hope he calls her out on it because it may be the only way for her to realize how her trauma has affected her and how she reacts to it. Can't imagine it being healthy to use Aryan as a punching bag each time.
