To briefly answer - right from the beginning Aryan has come over as a bully, too forceful, arrogant, a know-all show-off and has done everything to manipulate Imlie in order to get back at Aditya. He has pulled her out of college to give her a job over everyone else when she is not really ready, which can antagonise everyone else as it is clearly favouritism and has upset Adi a lot. He also lies. I could write a short book about just how ghastly a character he is. I was married to one similar once, and it was hell. So no 'nice' side to him can ever compensate. 'Nuff said, not arguing about it. 😒

If this was only about Aryan, I'd love to debate about it. But since it is a personal trigger for you, I won't get into it. You're free to like him or hate him as it works for you, as much as anyone else. If you've found something to like in the DT and engage despite not liking Aryan, I hope you enjoy your time here! :)

Yaar I asked out of curiosity and to learn about other perspective as I find it interesting and my intention was to do respectfully. I hope I didn’t offend you in any way. I really hope so. I can totally see your point of view and get it. She wants to do things on her own merit.

I'm sorry but the post above feels to me like an attempt to rile up the Arylie fandom if there ever was one. A person comes to the appreciation thread (read den) of the character she supposedly hates then makes a hella of a lot of assertions against that character and says she doesn't want to argue about it basically terminating any comebacks from anyone else. Further she links it to some personal trauma so people feel dissuaded from taking her on coz it's personal to her. Nu-uh. No. Not done. I know appreciation threads are open to all but if you hold genuine malice for the character and are not here to appreciate why come to their appreciation thread at all? If I sound unsympathetic then maybe I am. I too am brooking no argument about that!!!

Mere ko abhi-ich woh ghee shakar chahiye wapas. Humne kya kya socha tha aur kya ho gay. The makers had a perfect setting and of course they couldn't take the easy right. Instead we might actually have to suffer through a forced shaadi considering Aryans dream......
