Just laughing while seeing the contradictions, on one hand it's a place for healthy discussion but all I see is toxicity and casually throwing around the word "marital rape".
Does that count under healthy discussion when there's never ever been an inappropriate action in the slightest from Aryan's side ? AND NO, I DON'T CONSIDER HIM RESTRAINING HER FROM LITERALLY KILLING HERSELF. That's just dirty thinking from your side. You have NO idea about trauma otherwise you won't be talking about things such as sexual assualt and marital rape so casually.
But on the other side this same of the fandom have been staunchly defending Aditya against Malini drugging him. Aditya was definitely the victim but why the double standards? If Aditya wasn't the former ML, I am sure you won't care one whit about the assualt because the above replies just PROVE THAT. Someone here asked why shouldn't Aditya's trauma be counted because he is a male ? Well, then you accuse Aryan of groping Imlie, being bad bully BUT NOBODY BATTED AN EYE when Imlie pushed Aryan into the wall, into the ground and used her strength. That was definitely done without consent, because Aryan kept saying Let me go to save his didi. I am not calling out Imlie here, let me be very clear because that's just the AryLie equation. The push and pull between them is something they both have allowed each other. That's their comfort.
But what I won't absolutely stand is this HYPOCRISY. All the taunts about Aryan being a bully, manipulative piece of sh*t and so and so, have been gone unchecked because we have had discussions within ourselves and engage in a respectful way about the actions of our characters when he really did something wrong. His manhandling earlier when Imlie wasn't that familiar or comfortable with him has been called out by the entire Twitter and IF fandom. We don't particularly believe in flawed character you see, because our character can do better and has done better which you guys conveniently unsee. It's far better to engage our energy into appreciation rather than hating, hence nobody except a few times, bothered to reply to the direct accusations and taunts before.
Alas, people and their thinking can only deteriorate with all that toxicity around. Hence, just by preconceived bigotry (can't even call them assumptions because assumptions are based on something at least) you tag him as a sexual assaulter ? And then you expect us to respect your views and if someone calls you out, you victimize yourself ?
