BUT she said you made me lose my belief in love, marriage and all that. Will Aru change it and have to fight for it? Yes. Really hard.

This was bound to happen. Her expression after the big reveal said it all. She wasn't expecting anything from it, she was aware of it all, yet, when it was all out in the open, she looked exhausted, broken and empty in yesterday's episode + precap. I know it's going to be painful for us to watch, but I'm glad they're showing this.

A divorce shakes up the best of people, and in Imlie's case, she's gone through hell in her one year of marriage. It would be unrealistic if she was all ready to move to on in life with regards to love and relationships without being jaded about them no matter what gem stands before her, because the pain of believing in it all, all over again is burdensome. Because believing means expecting, hoping. And the amount of times Imlie has had her hopes crushed, it is sufficient for her to last a lifetime.

Good thing about Imlie is that she's not jaded or nihilistic. She might not be explicitly ready for romantic love yet but she's clearly loving, caring, giving, warm. Even with Aru.

So, her realisation will be so painful and beautiful to watch because she'd be the one to have to convince Aru.

They need to introduce a jealousy track for Imlie so that IPL sustain kar jaaye.
