I know US is a melting pot. But I do think India is way more heterogeneous. Just the north east itself has so many tribes very different from each other with constant conflicts. And the 27 states are like 27 countries with cultural and linguistic differences. And states have cultural and Lingusitic divides among them. And plenty and plenty of religion and caste differences. And on the top of it, all these differnce cutting through in all the minority communities or historically oppressed communities. Every single time I think about India, I am reminded of this really long different colored tangled earphone that you can never untangle how much ever you try! 😄🥰
