He did test waters though. Yesterday's indirect confession didn't ruffle Tejo the wrong way so he understood he can take another small leap. And the close proximity with her without 9ther past baggage of separation anxiety(again a doggie reference lol), anger, guilt or hurt also helps. And Tejo already got comfortable with touching a little more than earlier. He picked up his signals well.

I don't know if I am reading the intention well but both have conveyed and are very much aware that they love each other but there is also an issue of trust and hurt. When the situation seemed like it is out of hands, they went into dreamland of what could have been... now the situation has come to practically materlise what they dreamt, they want to but there is still reality of unresolved emotions. They are getting around to that proceeding with caution, taking it slow, discarding all residual bitter stuff one by one with Fateh being repeatedly put in situations where his loyalty and sincerity towards her is proved again and again.

The way he cried at the prospect of marrying Jasmine has resolved half their issues. 😆

As for earthly pleasures he kept them bottled to be thrown into sea when he decided to go away for good. Now after all the ups and downs he is finally faced with a prospect of living the life with Tejo which he thought was impossible. On top of that Tejo is breaking the walls voluntarily and gave a way back to their equation by reviving the friendship( the base of their relationship)So he found a footing he can build on so the banter, the sharing etc are back already.. the joy of all this plus being that close to her physically repeatedly in the last few days... come on, this was long coming...

Difference is with jasmine , she found it thrilling to sneak behind Tejo’s back with him in malls and changing rooms and he was guilty and terrified to be caught and wasn’t enjoying those moments. Now he’s enjoying the thrills of hiding with his true love and remembering his past moments with Tejo and expressing gratitude

An idea came to me... What if Fateh buys tejo new kangans, I know J gave them to Jass, and Fateh got them back, but he buys new ones for T anyway from his own salary. Signifying, that he is a man of his own fortune and hard work, and the credit of that goes to Tejo. Also that these ones are hers, from him. Means his love for her will always be above everything else in his life, beyond family or tradition or their pushtaini culture.
