There is a 1961 Hindi movie based on Tagore's story. It has Balraj Sahani in leaed actor role. I guess there is a Bengali movie as well.

i would have loved delena if they had been written right
they should have gradually ended stelena in s4 as stefan clearly had problems with vampirism and elena embracing it would have caused frictions then she broke up with stefan but obviously she still loves them both then gradually she moves on to damon in s5 she just enjoys and finds herself as an individual
the bitch julie reduced elenas character to being damons love interest she wasnt fleshed out thats why i love stelena she was more badass than vampire elena
i would have been totally okay to have elena go full dark like i love the rave party scene in s4 where delena danced to feel so close she and damon could have been a badass vampire couple but they became annoying damon didnt have to be restrained he could have been the damon from s1,s2,s3,s4 and i would have loved him i would have liked elena to be more like damon
