Vikrant the actual reason the show suck

I keep seeing people being like he's supposed to be grey and he/the show is ruined. For me, the show was ruined when they kept stretching V D love saga, D lying herself about not loving V and the whole affair thing. The affair was something I felt will always come up but the way makers made the show about love affair was worst. There was no patient, no medicine talks, no pc, no emergency ward drama, nothing, just these two and their whining.

They made the show about Vikrant and not Deepika. It was about his parents, how they shaped his pov on world, how he was broken due to D leaving him, his drug addiction, his wife, him wanting kid, his trauma, only his. We don't know how D coped after leaving her house. They didn't even deal with the trauma of her father death news, and she craved her parents so much. She never called her mom again. Overnight she lost her parents and V post she broke the engagement, they never showed how she managed. What happened in her last hospital? How she dealt with sexism there? Any old colleague who was a friend? There is nothing. But we get everything about V. They made V a well rounded character- there is depth but I don't think we can call him grey. He was a sexist, he manhandled his gf when she broke up, he's no grey. He came back and constantly blamed D, it was something makers have showed since V was part of flashback. He tried to do divide rule between juniors, tried to show D he will leave the job for her but still stayed around. Is it really shocking that a man who made overnight decision of marrying another woman won't treat her like trash like he did to D? D was someone he claimed to love, Aditi was just an outlet for his pain. He saw D and made his mind to stay in hospital and have a relationship with her - affair or otherwise. He was never going to leave, and his zidd is the reason another woman is dead today.

The show is ruined due to V. I wish they wrapped up his track by 2/3 weeks with or without affair or just made it about office politics. The sad part is this could have paved a way for other channels to try finite shows too. But no channel might try cause the online buzz is so negative, there is no numbers. The team can try to show the show is so progressive, it's getting so good reviews but they are deluding themselves. None has been happy since V entered and they turned a show like dhadkan to a show like kumkum bhagya with pentagon hexagon love triangle.

U r right..They could have made ViPika the endgame, if they had the plan of killing Aditi..Out of total 75 episodes, 55 episodes have already been about Vikrant's story of different phases of his life (as this week will also be about him so I said 55) including ViPika's EMA justification..Now that Aditi has died, easily ViPika ko shaadi karwaa sakte the..Atleast show ka 0.1% sense bachta..that all these were showed to reunite them! Samajh mein aata atleast..But no, they're bringing Nikhil in to marry him off with Deepika..Mtlb humlog yeh sab ViPika ka nonsense iss liye jhel rhe the? 🤣 That too Nikhil will be for only 20 episodes??? R they even serious? Abhay kis cheez k liye tha phir..he's become nonexistent really..No track! The story now seems like a bulls***! No story at all..no message!

Totally agree with this

I remember how much I liked the show when it had started. We alwys find itv medical shows funny and more of love stories than anything remotely medical. But this was so refreshing to watch on ITV. I was so impressed . Even till V's entry I was fine.

But then started the whole Vikrant round. Everything was about him and him only. The show stopped being remotely relevant as soon as Vikrant angle was forcefed into it.

They spoiled an amazing show by unnecessary drama and unrequired hero/villian/ grey/ black/God knows what Vikrant Saxena.

I mean, I feel like saying to 'Vikrant ki 'why did you come terrible saxena 😖😖😖😖', tum nahi aati toh deepika hasti, muskurati, troubles hote uske life mein par itna nahi ki tolerate naa ho aur...'paagal' naa ho jaye.. Shayad 'Abhika' sundar se hi close hote...but 'Vikrant' is irritating...

Vikrant is hot so I'll just be thankful that i got to see him shirtless.

Not much to add other than I agree with all this. Vipika should've been kept to a limited number of episodes. People act like it's all Deepika's story, but in reality it was much more about Vikrant. We got very little insight into Deepika's pain and trauma. Also very unnecessary to have Vicky put on a good boy act, just to reveal he was more disgusting than before. We knew he was a POS, only Vipika and Rohit stans believed it. 🤔 Vipika ke chakkar mein the other characters got very little consideration. I would be less annoyed about Abhika not sailing had Deepika and Abhay been given more individual attention.
