Waise this is the only serious post for today, but I don't think Aryan's character is being ruined by these lovesick puppy traits. This was always hinted from the very beginning. Even FK said something similar long ago iirc.

This is a man who tamped down on his youth and refocused every aspect of his personality into this undefined 'revenge' quest. Aru is many things but he's not a vengeful person. So, now that he's something that is equally important to him as his baldla— the first time in five years no less— we will see many of his previous puppy-like proclivities resurfacing. It's a coexistence and battle between his darkness and light. Narmada keeps on reminding us of "puranawala Aru", and this is it.

Ok ladiejjjs...I have a theory about precap.

So on a 2nd-time watch, I realized, maybe, keyword maybe, Imlie and Aryan were making some plan against pardanashin Mal-oo-ni, where they may pretend roleplay as lovers. As in using Malini's tactic to defame Imlie and Aryan against her. She utilized this trick to trap them and get Aditya, maybe they are planning to reverse engineer that to trap Malini in some other plan they have made against her. And that is the precap. Imlie is clueless of course, but Aryan is hyperaware and hence deer caught in the headlights wala reaction.

See, I cannot detail out what strategy they have against Malini, but ye one week ka challenge ka kuch to karna padega na. So I guess that's the approach they are taking.
