Don't remember exactly when the last mega auction was, could be around 4-5 years ago when complete teams were rebuilt.

Captain's are chosen by team management and coaches. Every team has a huge technical contingency.

Auction happens low-key every year but mega auctions like this year's is rare, where apart from 30 odd players everyone is up for bidding. Has just happened 1-2 times before I guess.

Don't know. SRH was at bottom of the table last year, none of the player combination was working for them so they took some fast and weird decisions.Forget David Warner they even let go Rashid khan. Which sane team will do that?

Ya, should be once in every 4 years atleast I think. Can't remember. Would have to google the rules, they have a rulebook I think.
