It’s such a weird angle for her character to take. Being so obsessed about taking care a group of educated and well off “middle class” adults when she has her own mother who has struggled to raise her.
She probably gets these weird tendancies from meethi as well, after all she told Imlie to “take care of herself first” but then went and said “keep 5 thousand rupees each month and give the rest towards the T’s debt” LIKE WHAT IN THE WORLD WOMAN?! 💀
