Malini was defo preg. and not faking it yaar. But she is a woman who does and goes to extreme lengths. So she might intentionally make this miscarriage to happen and throw blame on Imlie. T's and Aryan would support Imlie and Adini on the opposite end starting to take revenge from Imlie and Aryan. This is how story could progress.

Malini's expose important isiliye hai taaki Tripathis ki aukaad pata chale Imlie ko. Cause Imlie badal rahi hai, lekin ye mahamaari ke kitano ab bhi nahi badle hai. Imlie successful hoke bhi Malini ka kuch nahi ukhaad sakti, kyunki Aditya ek zimmedaar baap hone ke chakkar me phans chuka hai and Tripathis Aditya ki majboori ko samajh ke chakkar me eyes se bhaater bahayenge.

Imlie going to that house is important to actually revisit the last one year and she isn't the same anymore. She has changed. She needs to value the Rathores and also miss her dose of banters with Aryan. The comfort level she has with Rathores, she doesn't have with the Tripathis. Also, she won't have Aryan always hovering or protecting her. So, yes a lot will happen to Imlie in a week.

Aryan also has to step back. He cannot always barge in to protect Imlie. Although no one can stop him. But yes he will have to manage his work and home and he will miss Imlie and evaluate his feelings. Hope they don't show her bunking work, which they can, kyunki inn logo ka full plan hai to turn her into their personal naukrani, but hope they don't otherwise it will surely drive Aryan up the wall.

So a lot will surely change in a week.

It’s such a weird angle for her character to take. Being so obsessed about taking care a group of educated and well off “middle class” adults when she has her own mother who has struggled to raise her.

She probably gets these weird tendancies from meethi as well, after all she told Imlie to “take care of herself first” but then went and said “keep 5 thousand rupees each month and give the rest towards the T’s debt” LIKE WHAT IN THE WORLD WOMAN?! 💀

If Adi can stage a midnight break-in into the Rathore mansion to see Imlie why can't Aryan do likewise into the Tripathi nivaas? I am seriously manifesting this parallel please, especially if BS and/or Malooney get to witness him in the act. By the way still scratching my head about how someone who had never been to the Rathore mansion before knew which of the many rooms in that house was Imlie's.
