What she doesn't realise is how transactional her notions of love are. I was traumatised by her words to Malini. Aru will help her break this cycle of abuse, manipulation and entrapment. She'd have to chose and give unconditional love with him

Jumping in right here cause I’ve come in after days and you’ve tagged me (thank you!!!) so might be missing some context but thought I’d share some thoughts as well.

I agree - to this point love in Imlie’s life has been largely transactional. She doesn’t see the toxic relationships within the T house. She said it today - the T’s are the only ones who’ve ever accepted her outside of her mother and SK. It doesn’t even register what she had to do to both gain that “love” and keep that “love” now.

That’s why she cannot fathom how someone could just do something for her without any expectations (you know the fight from a few days ago). Aryan’s every little action shows how he values her without needing or wanting anything in return (although you know a thank you might be nice lol). Loving him, receiving love from him, is going to truly show her what real love is.

I loved today’s episode - there were couple vibes all over the place. It was beautiful. But that phone call at the end, has my whole heart tonight. The other moments were great and I can gush to no end about them, but that moment there was proper couple vibes. Him calling her to complain about something she does, her wanting to know if that’s why he’s called her, him telling her he got hurt, her being worried, but then instantly teasing him when she realizes he’s fine. His making sure she knows she’s got safe transportation home. His sulky-ness. If he wanted comfort he’s got a mother and sister who love him, but they didn’t even know he’d been hurt until the morning. He called her. Her smiling thinking about their conversation, because it’s just natural with him. This switching between serious and vulnerable to joking around and trying to get a reaction from the other.

I thought I’d be annoyed when (inevitably) Imlie ended up staying at the T’s because Aparna was ill but I’m not. I think this’ll create some great Arylie moments. They’re going to miss each other, they’ve gotten used to each other, and who knows what routines they have that we haven’t seen. Already we’ve seen how it’s just a given that Aryan and Imlie have breakfast together as a family and go to work together. Plus, she’s never had someone like Aryan in her corner when going up against Malini, and that alone should show her the difference between what’s she’s put up with in the past and what she actually deserves.

Okay, enough of my rambling - that went on longer than anticipated lol! Miss you too!! There just don’t seem to be enough hours in the day.

I know it’s slow for some but we’re seeing growth in Imlie.

I know she was stuck in her BSing for quite some time but it was needed, she has moved on. It’s not about Aditya anymore, unless it’s in connection to his family. Like you said, she corrected herself when calling him BS today - it was like it was more out of habit than anything.

This acceptance, this understanding, this getting over BS, leaves the door wide open for Aryan. He’s slowly working his way under her skin, into her heart. It’ll take her a little longer because she’s still healing and isn’t in a place to accept what he can offer her fully - but I’ve always thought these two were going to fall in love slowly and without even realizing it until they were so far gone there wasn’t even the possibility of turning back.

That moment, her smiling, thinking about him - was my favourite today. Well that whole exchange like I mentioned in my other post. She’s not going to be able to get through staying at the T House for a week without also getting her daily dose of Aryan Singh Rathore. And of course we know for a fact Aryan won’t be able to. His sulking today was something, imagine how bad it’ll be when he’s not seeing Imlie daily.
