They could have saved all the money they're spending on these mute goenka characters like mimi , swarna and akhilesh and brought abhimanyu's dadi to torture akshu.

you know I’m not too fond on dadis torturing young girls…because there are so many other important issues in a marriage that they can show..also I’m not from India..so extended family households are actually quite rare amongst us Indian families here..most couples marry and live in their own apartment or houses after marriage so we don’t have mother in laws and grand mother in laws in our houses bothering us..In fact young women don’t tolerate the kind of verbal abuse we see happening on itvs..and akshara definitely shouldn’t tolerate that as she is educated and has a supportive family to back her up.. So I would prefer they show relevant issues that are going to crop up in a couple like abhira. Firstly akshara is not a doctor…so she may not fully understand Abhimanyus job and what it entails, then if she is not working and sitting at home the whole day.she’s going to get bored, tired and lonely waiting for her husband to come home when he’s doing a 30 hour shift..that’s common among doctors working in busy hospitals,..Then infertility issues are on a rise..many couples nowadays do struggle conceiving…I’m sure we all know of a few couples who had to go the IVF route to have a baby,, and there’s so many other issues that modern couples of 2022 face… But one of the biggest issues that many couples face is financial difficulties..now with covid so many people have lost their jobs etc…but goenkas and birlas are super rich so we won’t see that relevant issue.. But I would prefer these rather than having an old granny who should have more sense than to trouble a young woman.. saas bahu drama is so boring and unbearable to watch 🤦🏻♀️ ..but we can see harsh and akshara having differences..that will be fun to watch… because he doesn’t like her..so let’s see how he eventually accepts her and starts liking her… 😃Originally posted by: borntorule12

yes it will be nice to see Harsh and akshara clash and see a change in both of them for the better. Also, when they clash it won’t be silly issues..like kitchen politics , etc that we get with saas bahu drama 🤦🏻♀️,..We may see harsh belittle akshara about her career, etc,.and then we may see how she eventually gets him to respect all women ..even housewives with no degrees..and that may get him to appreciate manjeri more as well 💁🏻♀️Even I don't like watching dadis being shown as horrible people. Kdadi was horrible. Actually I am happy they replaced kdadi with a super egotistic, highly educated and supposedly sophisticated man as the "crass", backward thinking regressive element.

what I dont understand is-, why and how come they never show any leads with a good close friends...? they all have deep unresolved issues and yet no one to talk to,,they all have gone to college, yet not a single friend they are in touch with...instead of a family members, I want a friend into who can be their support system and teach a thing to two about how to live life, how to he happy and blue blue blah blah...so no more family into pretty please...

Yeah because in actual kdadi got away with her actions and behaviour far more just because she is an elderly woman, so none of the characters strongly opposed her or lashed on her when needed given her age. PR Birla as a middle-aged man, so he won't be able to get away with shit the way kdadi did, because he doesn't have age or gender as a shield to defend himself against angry family members that he would choose to offend.
Anshuman's death was unnecessary, they could have gone months further with Abhira-Anshuman bond development....
