Let her fall, fail and struggle. Aryan can back her for sure, but not save her every bloody time. Imlie grow without Aryan's intervention everytime. Otherwise, it will again be about the male guidance in her life. And we know she can do it well on her own."
Exactly, Libran! When we say Aage Badho to Imlie, I don't want progress in just the form of change in environment. It's as if Imlie has been lifted from one house and placed in another. Progress isn't smooth running. Yes, sure, she failed..in her marriage. But she failed in 'trying to hold together something which was already bursting at its seams' . And that's weighing on her. I get it. It got effed up. And Imlie is still being drenched in the rain crying her heart out. She is still there. Girl, you want me to feel your pain. Yeah, I do.
I strongly believe in having a balanced view on everything in my life. So I don't tend to pick sides. Instead, I try to understand why so and so acted a particular way. And that's why I have never questioned Imlie's loyalty to the Ts. Even when she jumps in impulsively. But by progress, I want her to fail. She is reaping benefits for her efforts. Good. But her first article..and that interview with the actress, she got it at the first go. She didn't fail in the process. Only when one fails, one tends to be more careful. Het repeated dialogues of how she ALWAYS saved Adi. Again , she has never failed in her endeavors. She has struggled. Though the concept of struggle & failures are intertwined, ironically she hasn't failed. Lucky enough to land a good job, lucky enough to get a house, lucky enough to progress through the ranks in the office, lucky enough to get a good mentor. And because she has been at the winning end, she isn't being accountable for her actions. She hasn't had a clear cut plan on how to face the obstacles. For example : her going to PD..and now offering to help the Ts. But how? Do you have any plan? There isn't a fear of consequences..and that is her biggest flaw (at least for me).
Was it @Bea who posted that there should be repercussions for her escaping from jail..and yesterday's auto hijacking? Yes, she should be punished.
She wanted to run to the Ts cuz she got scared. Ok..go ahead. But follow the bloody protocol.
My view on her not 'failing enough ' is purely my take on the Post Aryan episodes. Her struggle in the T household is a different matter. Her overconfidence is gonna be her downfall. Subconsciously, she is aware of Aryan's presence at every juncture. Today, I didn't want Aryan to catch her before she fell. I wanted her to actually fall.
Though I don't have any hopes, I want her to be punished at the office. Wait, whose fiction had that? @nmurali or M's?
