Fact is Aryan loved his deceased brother in law very much. Would he therefore be able to accept anyone to replace Arvind in the first place? Even if he was able to accept I'm sure he would want somebody he deems worthy of his sister, and I don't mean financially or status wise. Aryan is not a snob. Aryan likes people with get up and go, people who are about something. That's why he is forever pushing Imlie to achieve hereto unreached heights. Sundar, so far has not shown any inclination to better himself. When Imlie first came to the Tripathi mansion Sundar at first thought he and Imlie were on par or Imlie was even less than him but he was soon disavowed of this notion. Thereafter he encouraged Imlie no end and is no doubt one of her biggest wellwishers. But what about himself could he not have taken inspiration from Imlie to better himself or at least become literate? He is surrounded by people who could have taught him. Nishant, Rupi, Bade Kaka or even Imlie herself would have willingly taught him at night time after finishing his duties if he had only asked. Having said that I can see that after introspecting today he might now wish to improve himself to at least be able to look at Arpita. There is no greater spur than the love of a good woman. If creatives go this way and have him better himself well and good.Originally posted by: SundariP
why will he be against arpi sundar?
do you mean any other reason than social status??
eta: if he does not have a bias for imlie why will he have for sundar??
Also something else when Aryan met that sindoor seller in the middle of the jungle he thought of his sister and bought the sindoor with her in mind. This could mean that he is thinking of getting Arpita remarried. I've said this before but I will reiterate, any good brother wants his sister's happiness and that includes a married life for her and whatever you wanna say about Aryan he is a terrific brother. If Arpita and/ or Imlie eventually convince him that Arpita's happiness lies with Sundar I am sure he would have no objections in the end.
