The creatives for sure gave a loooot of explanations in that scene …I guess from inside they also couldn’t justify saami hence all those dialogues from Abhimanyu

He has lived a monotonous life that revolved around his mom, and his job. This makes him one among so many of India's young eligible men. Most of them who hardly have any time for courtship because they are too busy getting into one of the IITs or AIIMS or IIMs to ensure a respectable life. Like most of them, he also didn't know how to deal with it when he first found the love of his life. He made sure she knew of his affections, showered her with his undivided attention through intense stares wrapped in love and words as sweet as honey. He lashed out when she said no. Why shouldn't he? How can she reject him the love that was rightfully his?

Anyway, this is history. Because right now, like how Akshu is the maalkin of his heart, Abhimanyu is the lord (saami) of Akshara's heart. Thus the repressed child is finally freed and comes out to play with his beloved. Suddenly the blank canvas is being painted with rainbow colors, that adds beauty to his soul and his life. These splattering of colors is depicted through the vibrant costumes we witnessed in the dance, the first glimpse of the colors that is wading into Abhimanyu's life. So are the energetic dance moves. Finally the anger against the world, the resentment towards his dad that made him bitter is being channeled into a happy blissful performance with his Akshu. It is also foreshadowing of their relationship. It isn't going to be a boring "surgical" affair because he is a doctor, but a passionate energetic one filled with ups and downs, tumbles and quakes, upheavals and thrusts and much much love.

The child in Abhimanyu Birla is finally unrestrained because he lords over Akshara's heart and she will do anything to keep him happy and satiated.

Well, he did always see his MAA in her so it all makes sense... he has actually completed the Oedipal loop.
