Deeps, money and ratings are more important than content for all of them associated with this show. This is simply their job, they are not here to spread social messages or work towards a cause, be sensitive to audience sentiments etc,

If you look at the characters and the story line, a basic thing like respect is not shown properly. Only Dhara, Gautam, Suman are respected, no one else gets any respect from others. Shara is still not respected by Suman. As for other side characters, they do so much clownery and plotting and planning, still gets away with everything, that in itself says that you cannot expect good things from the writers of this show. Their brain and the thinking is all twisted and always focuses on negative things. They are very firm on this that positivity is something they should never write.

Actors and crew simply don’t care about what’s written in the paper, they get money to do their job. It’s only fans like us who have progressive thinking are expecting too much out of a below mediocre show like PS.

It's sad actually.

A TV show can be the means to spread a positive message and depict reality since it has such a wide audience. These Pandyas are semi-educated, they live in urban India, why do they have such a regressive mindset?

Why does no one challenge the matriarch?

Why are spouses abusing each other?

Why does conflict mean abuse/disrespect/violence/taunting?

Why does Raavi love Shiva? 🤪😆

I don't blame the actors - it's their rozi roti, so they can't come right out and call it BS. But they don't need to support the tracks either. They can respectfully disagree with what's being shown. They can say they do not support the characters' actions - nothing wrong in that!

I think they do.. But I don't think their suggestions would have any value.. It's just a job that pays their bills.. Before opening my boutique I used to work in marketing department of a company & the things I had to appreciate bcz I needed money for my college I can understand kya mazboori hogi unki😆but as I said, they shouldn't unnecessarily defend the show & character when it's not even asked about, that's why I really liked Alice's interview she never once glorified or defended her character but talked about how she got the opportunity to play different emotions & range & how everyone is doing their job that's why they are getting this love. That's what they should talk as actors, about their craft.

Yes..its just business...without an ounce of creativity or importance to show growth in storyline..

Writers of this show have lost the plot of the family story and the love story long time back. They do not have any fresh ideas. They just want to rehash storyline/tracks and scenes from their old shows or repeat what was already shown earlier in the same show. They do not want to copy from the original story because it is too straightforward, positive, relatable, sensible and won’t work with current ITV trend which thrives on negativity, regressiveness and abuse.

There is a dearth of good writers currently for ITV shows which is sad because they have a good medium to push forward progressive thoughts instead all we get to see is regressiveness everywhere.

Even old DD shows were way more progressive. I watched Udaan on you tube few days back.. It was even before 90s. How much progressive those days were.. What happened now?

Exactly..just say I can't relate much personally to this track..but its the writers story..and we just execute the fiction.. at the end of the day, whether its good or bad.,it's just art. ..all they had to say was something like this..this won't be offending anyone..but clearly tells they dnt support this kind of happenings..maintaining the respect for the writers who does this..

PS.. I write poetry. I dnt knw if my writing is good or bad..so I asked someone working in literature to checkout my work..she told what writers write cannot be called as right or wrong...its their imagination..its art..

so I am OK to respect them if they accept that this show is not showcasing a normal ideal household..its regressive. Accept it..tell that they want to portray how a messy regressive family deals with life through their mess..whatever..just dnt justify that these people are ideal. 🤪

There used to be limited period good quality shows.

Infact way more progressive than the society was at time.

Ekta ruined itv and its getting worst.

The days..I think old shows didn't have daiky telecast.. mostly it was weekend..now its a run for money..they will.write any bs to fill up a week ..🤪
