Sometimes in their dialogues it looks like they've seen this internalised patriarchy or these kinds of things they have often heard in their surrounding & they use it to connect it to larger mass who watches it, because still people use these kinds of things, words & have these school of thoughts

Though I've never seen mere angne me, but my mom used to watch it & some dialogues were way more regressive than this.

I guess you are right.

They are using this to try to connect to the masses.if a show manages to invoke emotions, good or bad, people watch.do they necessarily like it? Maybe not.

My friend is interested to know what raavi will do, how she will give it back to the pandyas.how she will fight back.

She even said what if she is planning a revenge And this acting of love is merely to get access to the house. What if she leaves when shiva confesses his love.

All I could think in mind was mera bhi kata hai ,tera bhi katega đŸ€

And we have this, normalization of every problematic thing. That's where your writing talent & your storytelling shows

True.

Storytelling is all about good character progression. Where people make mistakes, some terrible mistakes but learn from it and grow.

Suman had character growth from pre leap to post leap, she is back to square one.

Dhara's character went downhill.

Shiva's anger issues are increasing.

Raavis dobiness is increasing.

No progression at all.

You know if I only concentrate about Raavi as character she's seen maximum growth.. First they should her as some airhead who just wanted to get married to Dev, that was her only wish. As story progressed I could understand where she was coming from, Dhara, Dev were two people who showed her kindness despite their family rivalry. She mistook kindness as love bcz she's never gotten selfless love. Circumstances threw her into the marriage where her partner hated her for something she never did or had no control. She showed denial, anger and later acceptance.

She was always shown as go getter & not someone who mops around bcz somewhere deep down she understand that life has never been fair to her & only she's the one who will get things done for her, who will fight for her, nobody else will. She knows that love doesn't come easily, especially to her, so she doesn't let that go so easily. & that's what it was shown in her story. No matter how many downs, she always manages to fight for herself & get up for next storm & with time she has started to understand people more.

She loves unconditionally & trust people easily bcz she's never gotten this herself. I don't agree with her many actio but I can understand where she's coming from. I see progression in her character.

I don't understand other characters like I understand her.

She Doesn't have much idea about all the characters and backstory.not a fan of any character or actor.

The dlg where gombi says

" Itne din kisi janwar ko paas rakhe to bhi usse lagao ho jaata hai. Raavi to phir bhi teri biwi hai shiva"

She was like WHAT? Did this man just compare a man loving his wife to attachment with a pet? Is this the advice a big brother gives his younger brother about marriage?

She was really angry on that scene.

I kind of defended gombi saying he exactly didn't mean it that way.

Did anyone find that dlg offensive? I didn't pay much attention to it in my first watch😆

PS- I don't know if it has already been discussed. Didn't go through all pages of the EDT.

What the!!!

Pardon my language but seriously did Gautam use such an amazing analogy..

I have not been watching the show much, I would have slapped my sibling if he/ she would have said this..😡

No wonder, I call them #PaglaitPandyas

I mean. How?..where?..who?...if they experience this kind of life in their own house, they should seek help..not flaunt it to the audience. đŸ€Ș
