What is your Arylie moment of the week? (week 1) - Page 2

One??!!! This week was so AryLiecious. Difficult to choose one😳

Anyways, picking out, I loved the scene where they fall asleep on each other’s shoulders. Oh, it was so beautifully shot! One of the most aesthetic scenes I have seen in some recent time
I loved all the scenes of Aryan motivating Imlie. I never really liked Imlie’s character. She was all talk but no action but with Aryan, her character is transitioning to become someone whom the show initially promised us of❤️ She seems to be developing a spine and understand her worth. Aryan has boosted her morale.
And of course, being an ASR stan, I loved the scene where he defends Imlie and talks of her highly. I swear, everyone needs a man like Aryan Singh Rathore❤️

This is very tough, all the moments are my favourite but if I have to pick one, I think it will be the one where Imlie finally snaps at Aditya when he insults her and Aryan is so proud of her. I felt Aryan was surprised too here, he was about to respond but Imlie did and he was proud of her for that, finally she is lowering her blinders.

My favorite moment is when Aryan calculated his punch when they were about to attack imlie. I loved when he came and stood in front of her. And the way she looked at him. It shows he’ll always protect her even though he knows she doesn’t need it all the time.

my other moment is when he spoke so highly of her. He’s proud of her achievements and will share it with everyone and it’ll never affect his ego. She was so stunned when he said all this because it came from him.

#1 My fav has to the scene where imlie is going ballistic with the officers for not finding BS. And Aryan hugs her into comfort, trying to protect from her own craziness

#2; has to be ayran motivating her she can face anything a more fierce and ready to face idiots together in the morning after the mobs comes knocking their Lil abode

Oh, there is one other scene I really loved but if you are being pedantic it's not really about Arylie. In fact this scene probably trumps all other scenes from this week, at least for me. It's the scene where Aryan punches the daylight out of the scythe wielding villager. Man, everything about that scene was so good.

How Aryan stepped in front of Imlie, the look of absolute determination on his face, even the frenetic cutting back and forth between the villager and Aryan until bam Aryan's fist landed and it was curtains out for the villager. The sound effects were chef's kiss, props to the sound effects guys. I mean the frenetic beat as the villager rapidly approached then the bam sound as Aryan's fist landed, it totally sounded like the villager had run into an iron fist, then...silence and after, a heartbeat to signify the villager was out cold but alive. That moment felt like it had been filmed from the villager's perspective.

The aftermath: everyone's reactions were so good too. The shocked look on Imlie's face as she stared at the passed out villager and the one of disbelief as she looked at Aryan. It was as if she was asking herself "how the hell did I fight you before and come out unscathed if you can do that?" Babusaheb's reaction was priceless too, on the lines of "Remind me never to get into a fist fight with you". The collective step back by the villagers and snapping of the head by the sarpanch to get another good look at Aryan. All really good and apt. Then the challenge by Aryan (and it echoed loudly) and finally the villagers turned tail and left. The best scene hands down.

My favourite moment of the week has got to be of them in the hut, when Imlie stood up and walked over to sit beside Aryan before they fell asleep together. The falling asleep together was lovely and everything but my liking of that scene is more because this felt like the very first time Imlie had gone to Aryan to provide him with comfort of her own volition. She went to him. That's quite remarkable especially given the fact that he made it a point to create space between them right before he slept.

So maany of the moments. Buut I think one of the must understated was the one where Aryan did bandage by distracting her and her noticing.

It's not a question but a punishment to just pick only one scene pls when the entire week was so wholesome. Nvm some of the scenes that really stood out for me are:

1) Aryan inspiring Imlie to value herself & prioritise herself before thinking about others (saving BS in this case)

2) Imlie offering her jootha sweet potato but Aryan refusing it. Then Imlie offering her friendship but Aryan refusing it again. Finally Imlie taking that first step towards him to lend him support while he's sleeping was so beautiful. It's kind of a foreshadowing that it's gonna be her who'd take the first step in this relationship while Aryan would keep backing out.

3) Oh boy this one made me so so so emotional. Aryan taking a stand for Imlie in front of the villagers. He truly delivered what he had promised the night before "or phir bhi agar zarurat padi to main khada hu tumhare saath". The way he called her Chandan ka teeka & how the entire village should be thankful to her for what she had achieved.

4) Imlie breaking the shackles not just hers but even Aryan's. So powerful. Foreshadowing?? YES!!! As I said Imlie pehal karegi is rishte mein. Also Aryan taking charge finally when he thought enough was enough & knocking that attacker out with a single punch. Uff!!! Chummeshwari😘😘

The whole week was filled with gems but I think my favourite was definitely him speaking to her in the storm.

Imlie's entire life has been people telling her she isn't good enough. A child born out of wedlock and fatherless.

A burden thrust upon an unwilling man by gunpoint.

A naukrani who isn't good enough to be a middle class family's daughter in law.

Even when she's had glimpses of love and affection it has come at a great cost to her. She's had to earn every drop of it. Because of that she fails to see how she has grown and how strong she is.

Aryan see's it though. It's always refreshing to see an ITV male character be a champion for a female character. To be her ally and stand behind her.

The scene in the storm was so powerful, followed to that was him calling her the hero in this story- which is true- and finally when he called her Chandan Ka Teeka and was defending her infront of the villagers.

It was just so REFRESHING. There's no revelation or convincing needed for him to be her advocate. He intrinsically knows this to be true and I can't get enough of it!
