We can make fun of how bahus have ghunghat or be horrified now can a man marry two people but there ka also khap panchayat killing off couples even if opposite gender talk to each other, there is a village in rajasthan there one brother marry and they share wife.

There is an obvious market for shit shows like these cause the people's lives are shittier. We are privileged.

Maine bohot pehle hi soch rakha thaa and till now i was silent. Otherwise show ke aane se pehle hi maine bola thaa SP will not bring concept like this but they brought ultimately. I was curious for the show because production house is really good. My interest for the production house kept my anger silent for this kind of nonsense color discrimination concept. Leken these comments enraged me again. Ekbaar Saat Phere dekha thaa iska matlab ye nahi i will watch or support the same concept repeatedly.

10 years later also they wont shy away from repeating this same concept with a twist like boss is not allowing promotion for FL because she is dark. Bloody bullshit ! 🤢

Tbh you know these things make more sense if the setting is correct. For example, high school m not being conventionally attractive gives rise to confidence issues there. Being overweight, LGBTQ+, and not conventionally attractive gives rise to lot of bullying nd stuff nd the people who do it are themselves young so they dont realize what harm they are causing. Maybe a plot like a teen drama where a particular young person faces insecurities and gets to develop herself be much more relevant 🤷‍♀️ nd it will be interesting too. I faced lot of confidence issues being the overweight kid in the age group 13-14 nd it was genuinely painful at some instances. Fir post 15 I thankfully overcomed my issues but young people don't generally

The story can have realism nd can shed light on various issues like racism, bullying, the effect on individuals and character growth

The Wrongdoers there will also make sense as they are young themselves nd don't see consequences of their actions

Doesn't mean we wipe away their actions. Humanizing a negative character without whitewashing for realism is a very difficult thing to do nd itv walo k bass ka nhi h

Itv wale change the nature of the characters according to their own convenience without showcasing a proper character development, characters go from 100 to 0 nd 0 to 100

This show is remake of a popular Telugu show Karthik Deepam where the ML marries the FL only coz he is infertile (as projected by vamp) like all the point about empowering a dark skinned girl goes for a toss with ML being this problematic.
